ZEALOUS AND RESOLUTE SERVANT DEFINE AND DELIVER HIS GENERATION

TEXT: NUMBER 25:10-13

Phinehas was in his own time a resolute and determined servant who delivered his generation from destruction {plague} through his firm and unyielding obedience to his master {God} and his master established a define covenant with him. Have you ever asked yourself these questions, what if Phinehas hadn’t thrust his spear through both Zimri and Cozbi? ; What if he hadn’t displayed his resilient act and had joined other men of Israel in having sexual intercourse with the Moabite women what would had been the faith of the whole Israelites. The answer is absolutely more plague and peradventure total destruction but that changed because of a man {vs. 6-8}.

Many lives are wasted everyday because we lack people like Phinehas who is zealous for God and none his ready to deny himself from all the temptation around so as to deliver our generation. Phinehas a relatively unknown servant became known because he recognized himself with God and God also recognized him and deliver Israel through him. Have you ever wonder if perhaps you are the Phinehas of this generation {nation} and all these people {North, South, East & West} are suffering because you are so self minded and not thinking of God in your plans for life and all you always do is disobeying him, worshiping another master {fornication, indecency, greedy etc} and displeasing {anger} your master.

But we must know that we have to live in fellowship with our maker just like Noah did {Gen 6:9-10} irrespective of our status as a Christian { be it pastor, evangelist, president, sister coordinator etc} because with all the chieftaincy and anointing on king Saul he still failed to deliver his generation and disappointed his master.

CONCLUSION

God is earnestly searching for people like Noah and Phinehas nowadays who will be ready to do his work every day. Will you make yourself available to do as your master bid you? And leave all your act of insubordination, stubbornness, pride etc and stand for him always in righteousness.
