What is JIHAD? | Should Christians be worried?

I understand this is a difficult topic, I have been on #Steemchurch for about two weeks now!. I have noticed here that people actually listen here. So As a Muslim I will be telling you about Jihad. How Its done, and is human race under threat with this? Thanks alot @sirknight for creating this platform where I can share my point of view freely.

JIHAD

word doesn't mean Holy war, It is a common misconception created my media. It literally means "Struggle" or "to strive".

There are three main types of Jihad,

1. A believer's internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible.
2. Struggle with pen
3. **Struggle to defend Islam, with force if necessary **

Jihad is not a declaration of war against other religions. It is worth noting that the Quran specifically refers to Jews and Christians as "people of the book" who should be protected and respected. All three faiths worship the same God.

So, Christians should not worry about Jihad. It is not a violent term. Muslims are only allowed to fight when they are being restricted from basic human rights, even then they are asked to do jihad with pen or use anything from legal, diplomatic and economic to political means. When the cruelty is over the limits and Muslims have no alternative left then Islam allows Muslims to do Military Jihad. but there are strict rules of engagement. Innocents - such as women, children, or invalids - must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from the enemy must be accepted.

I am aware of what is happening in the world. 22% of total population in world is Muslims. And those who are corrupt, fighting their wars using the word JIHAD are not even 0.0001% of total Muslims.
