NO ONE BUT YOU {AN ORIGINAL POETRY}

Like a person in the midst of an ocean,
With no companion nor a compass
Capable to locate his location
Or the direction he is supposed to sail.

I was lost in the midst of wilderness
In profound darkness,
with terrifying sounds
Which make it look impossible
to proceed in the journey of life.

Therefore, my life was filled with gnashing of teeth,
Whimper from sun rise to sun set,
And regret for even existing at all.
Until the day someone appeared to me.

Even though I was lost,
His glory lighten my environment
And make me conscious of the fact that I have been merry-go-rounding within shackles of life
for countless amount of years.

His voice was calm,
his presence brings peace,
and my troubled mind turnout to be very peaceful.
Then he said to me,
“Come upto me o yee of heavy Burden
and I will give you rest.”

Since there is no offer as kind as that,
I followed him till his identity is known to me.
And he happens to be
Jesus.

Day after day,
he shows me love the more,
he makes me know that if I ask whatever I need in his name
the ever sufficient God will answer it.

And from that moment,
instead of swimming in tears
I jubilate with no limit,
in the absence of nothing to worry about.

For this reason,
from the depth of my heart,
I have come to appreciate the king of kings,
the ever sufficient God,
ancient of days,
my protector
and my saviour
for how he helped me when no one can help.

Since no one but Jesus is always ready to help me.
Though I know that if I have a thousand tongue
it will never be enough to appreciate your help.
Nonetheless, please accept my thanks.
