GOD'S GRACE AND MERCY!

Man had been raised in this natural world to be very hostile, vengeful, insulting and injurious; and even the Bible says, "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked..."(Jeremiah 17:9) this is just the natural order of things and it ought not to be so. From my own little circumference, I have seen little children learning the bad things of life first before learning the good things by correction (good-based on the Bible standard). I have often wondered if a child is left to himself/herself to do what he or she pleases without correction or reprimanding, what will the child do? Obviously, the child will learn to destroy himself/herself and everyone around (just my thought).

Back in the bible days, Moses taught the people to show no mercy or pity, “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and life for life.”(Deutronomy 19:21) but this wasn’t the teachings of Jesus Christ who came to reveal to us the life and nature of God; the way God thinks and the way that truly matters which is the way of love. Jesus taught that we should love our enemies and pray for them: "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,... "(Mathew 5:44-45) Jesus had a different mindset. His words and teachings were different; in most cases, they were complete opposite to the Law and to natural human conceptual thoughts or believe. According to the Law, for example, the soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:20), but Jesus Christ through the Spirit of God manifested the life, mercies and grace of God to all mankind: “For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).

It is weird to the natural man to show love and mercy to those who hate or despitefully use him. This wasn’t the act of men. The natural man would not love or show mercy to its enemy naturally. That’s why Jesus came to show us the life and mercy of God. He brought to us God's kingdom principles: a new way to live. Jesus spoke love, acted love, lived love, and demonstrated love. Those that heard Him heard Love’s voice; and the bible records in 1 John 4:8 “God is love.” Those who encountered Jesus felt Love embrace. On a certain occasion in the bible, officers were sent to arrest Jesus, after they listened to the teachings of Jesus Christ, they submitted and said, “…No man ever spoke like this man!” (John 7: 45-46 NKJV). That's Jesus Christ who is the word of God made flesh.

At this point, I urge you to live the live God has predestined that you should live by. Live the life of Love, Mercy and Compassion.

PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your grace and mercy showered on me, to know and walk in your perfect will. My life is the outward expression of your Love. Your love is heard in my mouth and seen in my actions all day long, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God's mercy and grace give me hope - for myself, and for our world. Our God is abundant in love and steadfast in mercy. There is a difference between grace and mercy. God's grace is so powerful that it has the capacity to overcome our natural resistance to it. Be like the sun for grace and mercy

We are all saved by grace!
