Based on the facts known about other parts of the world and their lifestyle, would you consider those in developed countries like America to be blessed? I think our country despite our socio-economic challenges we must admit has been blessed by God.
That's awesome but with blessings come responsibility. If we want to take those responsibilities seriously,we'd be wise to look at the four laws of God's blessings:

  1. Our blessings should reach others: some persons posesses the mindset that God has blessed them so they can just be happy and comfortable. But that's not so.The Bible teaches us that we are blessed so that we can bless others.God's promise to Abraham in
Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed
    Blessings should flow outwardly
  2. When we bless others,God takes care of our needs: There's absolutely nothing God will not do for persons who basically wants to help others. As a matter of fact God assures those who blesses others rather than hoarding their wealth. In
Luke 18:29-30 -And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake.
-Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
That's a real blessing, because God is all capable of handling your blessings than you are.
  3. Our blessings to others will come back on us:
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again
This portion of God's word has a clear implication of when you engage in giving it comes back in multiple folds back to you.You cannot out-give God.
4.More is required from those who have more: Jesus said it in this way
    Luke 12:48b
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
would you agree with me that based on God's blessings on your life you have greater responsibility than others in the world? It is obvious that we've been given freedom and opportunities that many persons in the world don't have,we have been given physical and spiritual abundance that a lot of people around the world don't possess.

Think this over with me,if we've been blessed than everbody else in the world, then doesn't it stand to reason that God wants us to share what we have and care about the rest of the world?Doesn't that make sense? It certainly doesn't work in reverse. Those who have more are expected to share more.
God's desire for you His child,is to prosper in all you do.This is his will for you.God wants to pour his blessings on you and and your loved ones like never before how do we know this?
3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
He desires us to shower us these blessings each and everyday of our lives here on planet earth. As bestowed treasures on heaven,God's blessings engulfs and encompasses both natural and supernatural realms and should not be taken for granted but held in grateful remembrance. The familiar words of the psalmist David in
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: psalm 103:1-2
He was simply saying," from the depth of my being I make God the subject of my praise and adoration as I reflect on his ability to bless me". Through David's case scenario we can evidently seen the magnitude of God's blessings abundantly noticeable in the life of His children but each day we often too rush each day without counting those blessings and thanking God for them.

I was thinking of seven wonderful blessings available to us while reading psalm 103 and want to share :
-Forgiveness:when reflecting upon our blessings from God,what greater blessings could any man have than being in a right relationship with God Repentance from sin and work of the cross makes this possible for you and I,pardoned from sin, restored relationship with God the Father no greater state of bliss and harmony exists.
-Healing:In the same passage of the Bible immediately after recognizing God's ability to forgive sins,David states God's ability to heal all diseases. Throughout the word of God a connection between pardon and healing, these two benefits complete one another.
-Safety:'who redeemeth thy life from destruction'.this is found in verse 4 of chapter 103 of psalms. Here the destruction David is referring to include a number of areas. David recognizes God's ability to save him from danger and destruction in the physical and spiritual realm rescued from peril and danger, from sickness to health and our ultimate redemption or safety is rescued from the power of sin and it's consequences.
-Honor:referring to verse 4 of today's scripture David recognized his own unworthiness, knowing he was undeserving of God's love and mercy.Yet in humility he compared God's loving kindness and tender mercies to a crown bestowed on someone with much honor. You can experience no greater honor than to be reconciled to God experiencing the depth of his favor and love upon your life.
-Satisfaction:True and lasting satisfaction comes as a result of God's grace upon your life. The satisfaction David refers to in verse 5 is not temporal but has depth and wealth capable enough to meet any need.
-Restoration and long life: God renews your strength like that of the eagle, as we all know the eagle is a majestic bird, as a matter of fact the King of all birds their anticipated life expectancy outweighs that of man after that long years it sheds it's feathers which are replaced with new ones indicating new strength and abilities. What a marvelous promise of God for his children.
-Everlasting mercy: 'The mercies of the Lord is everlasting upon them that fear him' in verse 17 David declares that God's mercy is everlasting to everlasting it is endless even far more than you and your loved ones.It is impossible for the believer to out-live God's mercy for it s longer than life.

The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. Psalm 102:28

As you begin to meditate on God's goodness, your heart will begin to overflow with Thanksgiving as you consider his faithfulness in the life of you and your loved ones.
YOU ARE A BLESSING.

The blessings of a believer are mostly spiritual and mostly in Heaven.

(Ephesians 1:3-10 NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. {4} For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love {5} he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- {6} to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. {7} In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace {8} that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. {9} And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, {10} to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
