Purpose of the praises to God

The main purpose of the praises to God is to praise him, expressing it from our heart. The praises to God are manifested to recognize him for who God is, and for all that he does on earth. Understand his incomparable character and his mercy for what he did and continues to do for his children.

Meaning of praises to God

The meaning of praises is rooted according to who is he? How is God? Through the names of God, his character is revealed. To know who God is, we must know the meaning of their different names, and in this way we can praise him according to the meaning of each one of his names.

To manifest praises to God we must keep in mind the name of our father, including understanding the nature and the perfect will of God for each of His children and the way to understand it is by the understanding we have of His names. In them we find their promises to us. It is important then to make a thorough study of the following verses:

1.- The origin of the name "Jehovah", its meaning we find expressed in the revelation that God gave to Moses in the burning bush.

Exodus 3: 13-15 "Moses said to God," If I go to the children of Israel and say to them, "Jehovah, the God of your fathers, has sent me to you," they will ask me, "What is his name? "Then what will I answer? God answered Moses: - "I am who I am". He added: "So you will say to the children of Israel:" I am "" he sent me to you ". Furthermore, God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever; with him he will be remembered for all ages. "

Praise to God must be manifested and declared from the spirit

"Zacharias, his father, was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying:" Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who has visited and redeemed his people, and raised us up a mighty Savior in the house of David, his servant. " "Luke 1.41-43; 1.67-69 (See also Acts 2)

Praise is a service that comes from the will. "I pray you, Jehovah, may the voluntary sacrifices of my mouth be pleasing to you, and may you teach me your judgments." Psalm 119: 108

We should praise God in the midst of problems

God is able to solve the difficulty in the best way, as long as we can deliver all the burdens to him, and continue to praise and adore him despite what you are living, despite the trials, despite a mourning, of the absence. He is sovereign if you take him into account, perhaps taking the focus of this type of praise is not in the battle, not in the enemy, but in God who is the solution.

Meditate: When we praise God, he does not tell him how his response should come, on the contrary when you are able to confess the supremacy of God for praise, the faith you have as a believer increases anger at the level of his manifestation, and he provides the solution

The scriptures show us the character of God. He is great, holy, just, fearful, wise, creative. He is among different qualities; omnipresent (it is everywhere); omniscient (he knows everything); the almighty, infinite and eternal ... but it is also, currently for the believers, understood children a loving, tender and kind father.

Expressing its attributes would be endless would be missing space and time, make a description of each text of the biblical scriptures that tells us who he is would take us one more book. God is Worthy to receive all the glory and adoration. When we study the perfect character of our God, it turns out to be simple and motivating to praise him every day voluntarily and not as a requirement or mandate that we have to fulfill. Once it reveals itself to us it comes out spontaneously, it turns out to be as important as breathing the oxygen to be able to live.

Why should we praise God?
Because the main purpose of creating us was to praise him. Jeremiah describes it in a specific context when God makes the call to his people, and states it like this:

"For as the girdle is joined to the loins of man, so have I gathered all the house of Israel and all the house of Judah together, says the LORD, that they might go to me for a people, and for fame, for praise and for honor; but they did not listen. "Jeremiah 13:11

In the new testament we find that Peter declares: "that they may announce the virtues of him who called them out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2: 9.

How much time should we praise him, adore him and who should do it?
We will do it from today and forever. All heaven must do it: from the children of God, to the angels, the birds, and everything created by him.

"And whenever those living beings give glory and honor and thanksgiving to him who sits on the throne, to whom he lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship the who lives for ever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying: Lord, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power; because you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.

We can see that in the sky instruments are played, they make new songs and they adore with a great voice. Therefore what we do here is like a training of what we will do in heaven. Yes Why praise and worship is a ministry (or service)

First of all we must know that when we praise God we are serving him as the principal and important for us. Singing praises is an idea of God, it is a prophetic commandment, to start singing in the temple, since it was the direction God gave to David. And since then it must be carried out as an important occupation in the congregation premises.

When praise is put into practice we can see great victories, praise gladdens the heart of God, and we see how his spirit manifests. Miracles, healings, signs and wonders happen. It is like that father who listens with complacency when his children boast of him. With words as simple as for example: "Cute dad how wonderful you are"; "Daddy, you are my everything!" ... the father's heart is shaken with happiness and he will do anything for that son who recognizes him with his adoration.

You have to know that whatever the situation you may be living, keep in mind that the most important thing is to become a child in the faith, you should praise the father in all his expression. Recognize you as great and powerful to solve your problems, trust and believe in its magnificence. You will be surprised at the miracles that happen because of the great power that manifests itself in the midst of praising God!

Biblical characteristics: Praise and adoration to God.

1.-Thanksgiving
We must have a grateful spirit for God at all times, in the good and in the bad. And show it tirelessly.

"Enter through their gates with thanksgiving, through their courts with praise; Praise him, bless his name. "Psalms 100.4" Give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. "1 Thessalonians 5:18

2.-The singing

Regardless of the voice, we must have a singing spirit to traffic their presence, the song comes from the spirit and although you hear it badly in the secular, before the ears of God a pleasant melody will sound because it comes from an adoration guided by the holy spirit

"Then he put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord. "Psalm 40: 3

3.-Praise
The praise that is not audible is that which must be visible. Praise can be manifested in two forms: spoken or expressed by movements of the body, provided they are directed correctly according to the spirit directs them. That is why the prophetic dance; it is an applied representation of praise.

In the Old Testament we find some verses of the bible that recite us of the importance of dance.

"And Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dances." Exodus 15:20

4.-The dance

It is in physical practice that requires great value in the spiritual realm. It is essential that the abstentions produced by religion be set aside and that the whole body be used. The dance has no value in itself but the spiritual combat it can produce is valuable.

Generally, if the believer is deprived of physical actions before God, it is a sign that he could also abstain from spiritual actions before him. If the believer immobilizes the praise in the heart, it limits the movement that God wants to manifest in his midst.

5.-Clapping
Another way to praise the name of Jehovah is through applause, the movement that occurs in the spiritual realm is totally over-natural.

"Sing joy to the LORD, all the earth; Raise your voice, and clap your hands, and sing psalms. "Psalm 98: 4

6.-Shout
Glorify God, with a strong voice represents the force of war against satan and his hosts of evil. Since they detest that men praise and glorify their name.

7.-The offerings and tithes
It is one of the most important ways to worship and praise Him. When we give him what he gives us, we are expressing the faith and confidence that we have for him, as our only provider and giver. We deliver our self-sufficiency and let you know that we have nothing and nothing we are without its power. In this way we praise and adore his name.

8.-The prayer
It is fundamental to prostrate ourselves before God, and express how much we need his presence for and for everything in our life. To seek him, to ask him to find him and prayer represents a genuine way of approaching us to praise him in intimacy.

9.-Raise your hands
When we raise our hands before God we are worshiping him with our body, so that we visibly see our hands up, but in the spiritual realm, the one who rises is our spirit before his throne.

"Thus I will bless you in my life; In your name I will raise my hands. "Psalm 63: 4

Praise to God is extremely important, we must know who we worship and praise at this time. On many occasions we experience a spiritual blurring and end up worshiping earthly things, forgetting who created them. Today I invite you to fall in love with the creator God. Recognize his omnipresence, it is significant that every believer knows that God is present everywhere at once, and thus we can praise him at all times, regardless of place or context.

The greatness of God is incomparable, that is why he is worthy of all the glory and honor. God knows everything, because he was the one who created everything, there are unlimited reasons to adore him. He scrutinizes our hearts through praises to God and comes directly to his spirit, and he can discern if they come from a genuine heart.

We always need to have a grateful heart to God who has done so much for us (Ps 100: 4). In fact, Paul exhorts us to rejoice in the Lord always (Phil 4: 4). God loves us, cares for us, and wants us to know. From a grateful heart we can thank him and adore him in spirit and in truth.
What is praise? Recognize who God is (Ps 104: 1-35, 1st Chron 29: 10-13).
Recognize God, for all that he has done for us (Ps 25: 8-10, Is 25: 1).
Exalting God (Ps 34: 3, Ps 99: 5).
Honor God (Dn 4: 34-37).
Magnify God (Lk 1:46, Acts 10:46).

Marvel at God (2 Thess 1:10).
Glorify God (Rev. 15: 4, Ps 29: 1).
Why should we praise God?
God is enthroned in the praise of his people (Ps 22: 3).
Nothing can praise God as man (Ps 30: 9; Ps 115: 17-18).
Praise raises and rejoices in the great Hch of God both now and
in the past (Ps 40: 5, Ps 98: 1, Ex 15: 6).
Praise proclaims the greatness and majesty of God to the world (Ps 66: 5-8).
Praise releases God's blessing to us (Psalm 67: 5-7).
Praise releases the power of God (Ps 149: 6-9, 2 Chron 20: 12,22).
God created man to praise him (Is 43:21, Eph 1: 3-14).
We have been instructed to praise God (Eph 5: 18-20, Ps 146: 1, Ps 100: 4).
Praise is a sacrifice that pleases God (Heb 13: 15-16; Ps 107: 21-22;
Sam 24:24); not necessarily only our lips but our whole being (Ro
12: 1).
God is worthy to receive our praise (Rev. 5: 9-14).

Praise is a weapon

Praise can be a weapon against our enemy, Satan, because Satan is allergic to praise. In spiritual warfare, we do not continue to praise and sing only for love of it, but on the contrary, we should feel, by the Holy Spirit, the Word of God in which rests the anointing of God (Ps 56: 4,10-11; 2 Chron 20: 21-22). We should persevere until the power of God makes its way (Acts 16:25). This kind of praise is not spoken only silently in our hearts but, rather, must be heard!

Seven Hebrew words for praise

Yadah: Reaching out, reverencing or worshiping with outstretched hands (Gen. 29:35, 2 Cor 7: 6, Ps 107: 8).

Halal: Be clear, make a show, be proud and be foolish, be enthusiastic or celebrate (1 Chron. 23: 5, 30); 2 Chron. 20: 19,21; Ps 69:30; Ps 150: 1-6).

Tehillah: Of "halal" laudation or hymn of praise (Deut 10:21, 2 Chron 20:22, Ps 100: 4, Ps 145: 25) God is enthroned in this kind of praise (Ps 22: 3).

Barak: Kneel and, by implication, bless God as an act of worship (Jg 5: 2).

Zamar: To strike with the fingers, to play an instrument accompanied by voices, therefore to celebrate in song and music (Ps 21:13; Ps 57: 7: Ps 108: 1).

Shabach: Go to or glorify God in a loud tone or cry (Ps 63: 3, Ps 117: 16, Ps 145: 4).

Towdah: An extension of the hand in adoration; specifically a chorus of worshipers; a confession or sacrifice of praise (Ps 100: 1, Jer 17:26, Jer 33:11).

DR

God does not need our worship! He know we need to worship Him! We become like the thing or person we admire most. Our worship is not when we lift our hands or sing, but in believing His Word, having a thankful heart, how we treat other people, where we spend our time or money. Our worship is only validated when we lift our hands when we do these other things. We need this worship because it binds the enemy. Psalms 149.
Great post!
Thank you!
Daddy William

Worship in the spirit requires a mind centered on God and renewed by the truth. The apostle Paul exhorts us to "present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your understanding" (Romans 12: 1, 2). Only when our minds stop being focused on material things to focus on God can we worship in the spirit and in truth because such worshipers seek the Father to worship Him.

Distractions of all kinds can flood and drown our minds when we try to praise and glorify God, hindering our true worship.

God can do all things except praising Himself, He expects His creation to give Him that honour and we should praise His Holy name forever. This post reminds of my favourite scripture in pslams 150:
Praise you the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the lute and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and pipes. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the clashing cymbals. Let every thing that has breath praise the LORD. Praise you the LORD.

The names of God we know are numerous, and they are according to how he's affected our lives just like he provided a ram for Abraham in the stead of his son
Jehovah is God, and he's been more than anything to me, he is Jehovah tisikenu, he is Jehovah rapha and Jehovah addonai, he's is the sweetest and the most powerful Jehovah my protectior.

"Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD "
We ought to praise God once we are still living.
He required the praise of His people.
We are to praise Him always and not only when things are rosy or when He has done something for us but because of what He is.

I praise you Oh Lord for who you are.
Faithful are you Lord

We praise Him when we appreciate what God has done for us: His providential assistance, His deliverance from issues and problems. Even when we ourselves initiate actions which result in blessings, we should still praise God. All blessings come through the operation of principles learned from Him

The main purpose of the praises to God is to praise him, expressing it from our heart. The praises to God are manifested to recognize him for who God is, and for all that he does on earth. Understand his incomparable character and his mercy for what he did and continues to do for his children.

When we praise our Heavenly Father, it's always same as worshiping and thanking him for everything he has done in our life and very thing his is going to do in our life, that's why it's very important to praise him.

Thanks for sharing @xiore God bless you.

Eminence be to God the father of all and child of none whom merits all our acclaim.
We have to ceaselessly applaud God in quietude since it is only him that merits all our acclaim.
We have to build up a state of mind of appreciation unto God not on account of He has kept us or helped out us but since He is Lord of all.

Glory be to God the father of all and son of none whom deserves all our praise.

We need to continually praise God in humility because it is Him alone that deserves all our praise.

We need to develop an attitude of gratitude unto God not because He has kept us or done something for us but because He is God of all

Truly the greatness of our God is imeasurable "The greatness of God is incomparable, that is why he is worthy of all the glory and honor. God knows everything, because he was the one who created everything, there are unlimited reasons to adore him. He scrutinizes our hearts through praises to God and comes directly to his spirit, and he can discern if they come from a genuine heart."
Oh what a God we serve......

God doesn't required anything from us for helping out us, all that he anticipates that us will do is to commend his name for the entire world to know how great and kind he is a debt of gratitude is in order for imparting to us

How is praising God possible? Singing songs and hymns, clapping our hands, even jumping for joy…the list is endless. We can give glory and praise to our God with the use of our physical bodies, with our hearts and minds, and with our deeds. There are many ways to praise God! No matter how you praise and worship God, it should result in an awe of God's power, love, and grace for all of us!

Praising is a way of appreciating God for who he is. And it is best done when it comes truly from our hearts because it becomes really meaningful. We should praise God regularly because we were made to give him back all the glory.

The word, "praise", means: glorify, praise, exalt, ponder, and celebrate, with expressions, how important God is. His greatness and majesty, is the way to express our acceptance for him. It is important to praise his name, and do it at all times. But we must practice it in the spirit, when we praise we must forget all that afflicts us, to give all our honor to God. You have to know that whatever the situation you may be living, keep in mind that the most important thing is to become a child in the faith, you should praise the father in all his expression. Recognize you as great and powerful to solve your problems, trust and believe in its magnificence. The almighty God has made everything according to His power and be has hiven us power to conquar all our enemies and make good use of our lives.
Its good to be with the spirit and work in the parts of the holy spirit
The fruit of the holy spirit has always be with us in we have be doing.
Making right decision is by doing what the lord wants from you and taking your life towards the part of holiness towards doing the right thing at the right time with the love of Christ leading you.
Changing the world and making right descion can be done in fuseing the things you listed with the word of God and making a clear descision of the different between the good and the bad.
With the little you have help those who don't have and God will always be happy with you.
Your life will always be filled with his joy and Hus mercies when your decisions are clear and your life is focused towards the right part of God.
Believe what the spirit tells you

We must recognize that God is our Creator; He is our Lord, and as a result, we should praise Him:

Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:3–4).
