As children of God we must fulfill his word by exalting him and one of the ways to do it is through our firstfruits offerings. God is the creator of all things and therefore deserves the best. We must dedicate the first of our work to the Creator.
God the main thing that he sees at the time of offering, tithing is the disposition of your heart and obedience. When we obey the word of God, it generates prosperity and abundance in our lives; therefore no good will be lacking.
The offering is so important before God that Jesus himself became one to save us. On the cross of Calvary, He was the Lamb to be sacrificed. So we must measure the great importance of the act of honoring God with the offering, since the most important fact that has happened to us, involved the sacrifice of giving the most valuable. Therefore, when we speak of salvation, we inevitably speak of an offering. We love receiving the benefit of the cross, but we must understand that it was an offering, a sacrifice with which even Jesus experienced that sense of abandonment that we sometimes experience.Fuente
