The default post payout setting in Steemit is 50% SBD/50% SP. So whenever you wish to set it to "100% Power Up", you usually go through the Advanced setting and change it to "100% Power Up".
This publication aims to guide you to make your post payout setting "100% Power Up" by default, you don't need to change the setting every time you post a blog. Further, you can also make your comment payout setting "100% Power Up" by default.
Steps:-
- Go to https://steemit.com/@username, Replace the username with a valid Steem Username, e.g. sapwood.
- Click on Setting.
- Scroll down to the Preferences section.

- Now you can notice Blog Post Rewards and Comment Post Rewards. The default setting is always 50% SBD/50% SP for both of them. Click on it, select "Power Up 100%". In a similar way, you can also change the default setting of Comment Post Rewards to "Power Up 100%".

- Click on "Update".
It's done. Now your default setting is 100% Power Up and you don't need to change the setting every time you publish your post.
Thank you.

I just tried and it seems to update the settings and this changes something that needs to change under Public Profile Settings, then the Update button gets highlighted, am I right?

I wish that this was the default setting for new users.
Of course half of the fun of SteemIt is the crypto currency. So getting half the rewards in HBD forces people to learn the internal market and might encourage people to play with Steem-Engine.
