Products:
- flour - 240 grams
- eggs - 6 pieces
- butter - 250 grams
- sugar - 200 grams
- a pinch of salt
- baking powder - 2 teaspoons
- coconut flakes - 80 grams
- poppy - 80 grams
- cocoa - 1.5 tablespoon
glaze:
- powdered sugar - 100 grams
- lemon or orange juice
mold diameter - 22 cm
Cooking process :
- We put soft creamy in a bowl, (put it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature, but if you forget, you can do it like me, heat it up a little in the microwave, it's okay) add 200 g of sugar, 10 g of vanilla sugar, a couple more salt and mix until smooth.
2 . We add 6 eggs one by one, each time we mix already with a whisk, too, until smooth.
3 . Sifting 240g of flour, add 2 teaspoons of baking powder and mix.
4 . Now you need to divide the dough into approximately three equal parts, you can leave a little more for chocolate. And so I add 80 grams of coconut flakes to one part, 80 grams of dry poppy seeds to the other, mix. And in the third add cocoa and a half tablespoons, and mix everything until smooth.
5 . Cover the form with parchment and since this cake dough can be baked in a cake mold, put the dough with cocoa and stretch it a little on the sides, in the center, as if making indentations, put the coconut dough in the center, poppy dough on top and this close the bottom two layers dough.
6 . Bake at a temperature of 108 degrees, about 50 minutes. Then be sure to check the readiness with a wooden skewer, cool completely.
7 . Next, you can optionally prepare the glaze. Add a little orange or lemon juice to the powdered sugar, cover the cake with it and let the glaze harden and soak.
