Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John14:23
God is a lover of fellowship. From creation, man was created for a fellowship with God. After the fall, Christ came to restore that fellowship by reconciling man with God. This fellowship is a fellowship of love, hallelujah! It's by loving Jesus that we bring His presence and that of the Father into our lives.
Obedience is the evidence of love. We can't keep disobeying God and still claim to love Him. Brethren, use this to check your stand. Do you really love Jesus? It shows in how we obey Him both in difficult and good times. The things we are ready to let go or sacrifice for Christ's sake is a measure of our love for Him. Though we might not always win before men, in Christ we are more than conquerors. God dwells in everyone that love Him. Make your life a dwelling place for God today by entering a love relationship with Him.
Let's pray. Omnipresent Father, thank you for your presence in us. We proclaim our love for you, please empower us to love you forever in Jesus name. Amen. Have a great day.
