#STEEMGIGS: The Value Of Facebook Ads over Normal Television Ads on Digital Marketing

# Hello guys,

I will showing you what I learnt from my research about facebook on digital marketing. Facebook has grown beyond a social media site to a huge market place that can accommodate everyone.

On my last post about facebook, i shared some statistics about facebook that really shows facebook not to be just a social media site but also a huge market place where we can reach out to billions of people all over the world. We can decide to target any country of our choice. 

We can decide to target some certain kind of persons; maybe dog lovers, online marketers .e.t.c

# There are over 2.13 billion monthly active Facebook users which is a 14 percent increase year over year.

As at last year, Facebook has a total of 2.13 billion active users. BOOM!!!

That that's a huge market capacity. With facebook, you can practically reach billions of people using just a facebook page. You ca n practically reach out to these people

Above is a screenshot from my system of the highest fan page with so many likes. It may not be easy building a fan page with so many likes but with facebook ads, you can reach the as many people you desire to reach.

# 1.40 billion people on average log onto Facebook daily and are considered daily active users

If on a daily bases we have 1.4 billion users, then we can say on a average we have the capacity to reach over 1 biliion persons everyday on facebook. everyday with our business using facebook. That is a very huge opportunity seeing that the internet is global. 

To those persons who still see television advertisement as the the main way to advertise our business, we should note that not everyone will see our advertisement as at the time our ads are been done. Facebook helps our post to be long lasting using the share button so with it our post can reach even more than our targeted audience.

# The Like and Share Buttons are viewed across almost 10 million websites daily on the average On A Daily Basis

On a daily base, our post can reach out to other blogs through the use of the share button. On an average, the numbers of shares on facebook to other sites and blog reaches the space of 10 million sites. This means when we make post only to facebook there is a probability that our ads reaches other blogs which we actually didn't target for. This is a very great advantage to our business seeing that our ads reach beyond the scope of other social media.

Highest traffic occurs mid-week between 1 to 3 pm and also, on thursdays and Fridays, engagement is 18% higher.

Facebook statistics helps you you know when to post and make a good when to target your desired audience. Unlike television advertisement that you may not know when your targeted audience will be avaliable to see your ads. 

# There are 83 million fake profiles.

Out of billions of profiles on facebook, there is only about 83 million fake profile. It shows that there is minimal probability that your ads are getting to dormant account. With facebook, you can be assured that your ads gets to your desired users.
