hey guys, i recently discovered the #steemgigs and #steemgig tags and thought it was a brilliant idea and could not wait to be part of it. i work solely virtually, no commuting to an office, i'm literally two metres away from my bed to computer and i have no annoying water cooler chat to deal with. i'm available to work up to 10 hrs a day if needed monday to thursday. at weekends i have my daughter so friday and saturday are off limits and sunday is my chill down and planning for the week day! :)
translated: phil will probably play his favourite world of tanks blitz game or paladins while playing around with cloud based cctv raspberry camera stuff or something else that is as equally geeky on sundays or catchup with one of his favorite shows like better call saul, silicon valley or similar. sunday is my chill day, don't expect responses sunday.
look mum, i made a show reel! :)
i’ve been using upwork properly for about six months now, my partner uses it as well and she’s going great guns on it, 7x more than i’ve been able to do because she has awesome design skills. i’m more the technical, video, get it working and demystify it for the masses type of bloke - this is one of our income streams and we need this to pay the bills, any debt, new kit, cloud hosting and services and the usual food, etc.
the video is a bit rough and ready so please forgive that i did it when i was first starting out so i need to revisit it but i think it shows you the scope of things i’m able to help with around here. i’m hoping you will see my talents and value and will invest your time, steem and work in my direction. i’ve got a few little projects up my sleeves for promoting steem to a world wide audience (i know people are already doing an amazing job) but i’d like to add my voice to the mix too! :)
i should add that steemit is becoming the main place we want to post our journey and travels together once we get on the road, right now we are in saving up mode to make that happen. i’m based in the uk, dayle is in the US, our intention is to be able to travel and co-work between uk, europe and back to america every six months or so depending on visa and such like. gotta keep it moving right?
but what skills do you have?
dayum! your good with the questions, lucky for you guys i made a list and put them over on my website (which needs a rework) so i’ve put some of them below, i’m hoping in between all that you can find some things that you might want to hire me for, i’m thinking we can discuss that via messaging chat or maybe we just set a time period on videochat, you can decide the cost and value exchange! :)

so let me give you a bit of background (your probably better looking at my legacy page over on my website (needs updating) to get a bit of background as to who i am and how i’ve got to where i am today, i’ve posted it below as well to make it easier.

do you have any of your previous work online?
well i do have some of the video work i did over here - https://socialgandalf.com/work - the rest is either work i've done for a client and not shared or i've posted about it on youtube, courses, or elsewhere, that is one job i'll need someone to do at somepoint (returning the #steemgig love) in organizing all of the resources and assets i put out. it's a major problem when your constantly putting things out that you end up with work, jobs and things done for the client but your organizing of yourself is out of sync! :)
getting in touch
obviously you can get in touch with me on this post in the comments, via twitter @philcampbell, you can drop in a video chat with me using appear.in and /steemgigs as a url for the video chat room, one to one, no software to install just use google chrome and your ready to go, you could chat with me daily in our fleep.io we have setup - think like slack but does not cost as much, if you wanna join that - just follow this link (btw, fleep is awesome) - that should cover it.
TRUST AND AUTHENTICATION. .
