Hi, @ abasifreke, useful hunt.
This is a great gadget for babies up to 1 year old.
The device controls the abdominal activity.
When activity is absent, it first stimulates (vibration) re-functioning of the abdomen (breathing) and, if absent, then sends the alarm.
This is used for small babies in the first year of life because of cases of discontinuation breathing(without the known cause) ...
