Hello my hunter friends, Today I am going to present a hunt name Steem Social. Basically, it is a social media where steemain can chat with each other. Steem Social feature something like facebook messenger. This platform totally decentralized. This platform is safe and there is no central authority.

I think the applications related to the Steem platform are very important. Steem applications designed to hear the name steemin great. I also think users will use the platform more often because it is an application designed for deficiencies on the steem platform. Even though we were able to influence the post by sharing the post, the steem platform had some social media, but lacking in terms of conversation and messaging. With this application these shortcomings can be eliminated. AWESOME AND USEFUL HUNT !

Great job @themarkymark providing this service to the community as a witness. I have a feeling that this Hunt is probably going to be #1 for today. A lot of people who come join STEEM do feel the loss of a chatting app despite all the other great features. https://github.com/kingswisdom/SteemMessenger is the only other serivice of similar kind and most people don't even know about it. On the other hand Mastodon has some level of popularity as an alternative to Twatter and being a federated service offers more resilience compared to a more simple centralized model.
Now if we had a mascot like Mastodon, it'd be even nicer:

Anyway, this app finally gives Steemians a medium for direct communication that carries the Steem name instead of the others like Discord and Telegram. It can serve as a marketing tool to make Steem more popular aside from just being a chat tool. For me, it sounds like a work of passion from a witness to be doing this. Thanks to @themarkymark!

This is interesting, I have always wanted this on the Steem blockchain because most Steemians don't engage with themselves on the blockchain, When i stop posting, then i stop having conversations with other Steemians, this is a long expected development and i must check this out.

This is a super awesome and valuable addition to our blockchain. I see that it's made with Mastodon which I came across when people were leaving g Twitter.
It's a great project from a dedicated witness. Thank you for sharing. I know that it's not fully decentralised or blockchain based. But it's bridging the gap between STEEM and traditional social media features without sharing similar drawbacks.

yeah this was misssing from the steemit. But also because it was not here there was more comments and more rewards generated.
By the way in a partiko there is also a mesaage button but to be honest i never try it until now. That is good between partiko users.

anyways it would be alot helpful for people on steemit who are having troubles or new users who are trying to build themselves up . with lots of experienced users they can get the predictions of currency there are lots pf advantage of this specific platform made in the name of steem . the best thing is it's decentralized and secure chat .

Interesting app, ill try to register by the way. I hope it will have the same features as #Discord. Discord is so essential because it is for free. I dont get why there is a term "decentralization" in the steem chat app, when you can basically speak at your own will?

I think this is the best hunt of the day. We all know steemit, discord, steem chat but we did not have had an interactive chat services with another steem user. Although Discord is there but we want something more of it and steem.chat is mostly slow and not that cool. But I think this particular app is going to be the most popular than any other available. Great job done by @themarkymark.
Further, I have checked its user interface, it quite beautiful and looking more professional chat interface. The best part is the open source and decentralized nature of this software. It is also available in iOS, Android.

It's a great platform to get connected personally with other steemians. Though people use discord for that but using a decentralized platform to chat is much better.
I personally use Partiko which have a chat option. But as all steemians does not use that so it's not that helpful.
If we all steemians could use this steem social regularly, we can have more connection with other steemians in a better way for sure. This can help us to come closer and feel more attached.

Finally! Something on the blockchain meaning I dont have to go to Discord all the time. Although Discord is a great tool and one I will still use, sometimes I just want to chat to someone and now can easily do it.

This could be really interesting. Especially since right now the majority of chatting about Steem actually takes place off of Steem in Discord. This could be a good alternative. Adoption might be an issue since everyone is so used to using Discord, but only time will tell...

Having an extra chatting tool is great for Steem users. I am not a big fan of discord so I will definitely have a look. Steem is a social platform and it is all about communicating with other users so having many types of these applications makes sense.

@mawahab this is a cool hunt. This will make it easier for users on Steem to message one another directly. Right now we need to use other means such as discord or slack or telegram, wechat to message one another. It would be great to be able to directly do it in there instead of going out to steem chat too. Great hunt.
