This Android App shows the real time AQI (Air Quality Index) for +60 countries in the world. (Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong , Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Mainland China, Taiwan , Malaysia, ....)
Its sources are
The US Embassy PM2.5 data is used for Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu and Guangzhou.
The China Ministry Environment Pollution Departement PM10 data is used for all other cities in China.
For Hong Kong and Taiwan, the respective Environment agencies PM2.5 data is used.
For Singapore, the Singapore National Environment Agency PM2.5 data is used.

As an avid long-distance runner things like air quality really play a role in my running abilities. Apps like this are extremely helpful for me to plan out my distances in accordance with air quality, or simply take days off on bad air quality days. It really is a useful app :0)
