Hunter's comment

If you are interested in single board computers like the Raspberry Pi then this is a more powerful alternative for all your projects. The NanoPi M4 is a 6 core SBC compatible with most if not all Raspberry Pi projects and can do a lot more besides. You can use it as a desktop computer or smart media player for your TV, or a retro gaming system with 4K graphics and up to 4GB memory. It can run several Linux distributions as well as Android 8.0.

This is not from Raspberry... but there are multiple sites trying to sell this using their name... Looks good... but I am not sure about the support from the community, compared with the Raspberry products. Do your research first.

You are right this is not the Raspberry Pi but the GPIO pins are compatible, and while Raspberry Pi is the most popular of the 2 it does not have the power this board has and there will come a time very soon when people get tired of the simple IOT applications of the raspberryPI and want to make IOT devices with better AI and machine learning so I think community support wont be a problem for boards like this.
