My ideal Steemhunt post. What I would like to see.

The heart of the hunter coming through.

* Sourcing a cool product:

The hunter has sincerely sought out a cool, cutting tech product; not, just a product that passes the posting guidelines.

* Honouring the community:

Taking the pains to present the hunt well.
• No typos
• Attempting to produce grammatically correct English language text.
• No story-telling. Crisp, concise, to-the-point text.
• High quality images
• Official product videos, if available.

• Sincerely search for cool products:

Are they really new?
Is it a tech product?
What is cutting edge about it?

Getting your Hunt approved

Read & read again the posting guidelines!

I was merrily on my way posting, getting hunts delisted, testing the patience of moderators, without even perusing the posting guidelines!
Here are a few pointers:

• Product name:

Official product name, same as the product page.
No trademark or copyright symbols.

• Short description:

No product names; no non-product-specific.
Describe exactly what the product is about.
Sometimes found as a tagline below the product name.

• Product link: Official manufacturer or developer URLs.

No e-commerce store links
AppStore, PlayStore, Github, Bitbucket, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, active status crowfunding links are permitted.
No referral links
Check that the link is working after publishing.

• Hunter's comments: Succinct, making the reader want to read further.

In your own words.
No copy paste.
Quote, if you need to copy.

The Hunting community. How Steem hunters interact with each other

• Hunters are polite & helpful, especially with newbies.

• Influencers (disclosure: I’m currently one) sincerely look to mine products from newbies.

• Moderators look for means to list hunts; not, delist them.

They are tolerant of genuine mistakes made & give you are opportunity to correct it. Even after 200+ Hunts, moderators have given me the opportunity to correct typos, incorrect product names & the like.

• The Steemhunt Discord #coffee-lounge is for hunt camaraderie, in addition to the open #discussion channel.

Questions are answered, in the, you guessed it, in the #questions channel.
Specifics like #hunt-token & #review-hunt have specific channels on Discord.

• Swapping $STEEM to $HUNT
• Shuffle button lottery: Hitting the shuffle button, at the right time for free Hunts.
• Installing the Steemhunt Chrome Extension on your PC or laptop for daily tokens.
• Boosting Hunts: By converting 100% of the reward from Steem, SBD & SP to Hunt Tokens.
