.. . yeah they would last five minutes where i live, thrown in the river, stolen, smashed apart -- the whole nine yards! but it seems in other SANE places in the world they are doing very well thank you very much with their idea and technology.

the app seems super easy, find a bike nearby, scan and bike to unlock it and ride away, close the nifty back bike lock when you have finished with it -- i presume they bill you per time on the bike but maybe they take into account distance as well.

hmm, i love that. i'd love to have something like this near me, i'd probably work and live near a city if i had the access to electric mobility that's for sure -- looks like they already have a stack of places across the US where you can find them.

i think it's absolutely GENIUS that they have a solar panel in the basket at the front, that's just really smart thinking that while it's sitting out there (mostly) in the sun that it's charging up the GPS location tracker and keeping the 3G powered up.
