Description

you've probably seen this already and you might consider this old news but this is my next purchase when it comes to a laptop, something skinny and reasonably light but also has decent graphics power onboard in the form of that beast of a graphics ard the gtx1080 - i realise that the 1080ti is the fastest desktop gfx cards and more are coming out all the time but that means that in the next three months that the price of this laptop will fall and it will be a perfect upgrade from my aging imac of five years!

i'll actually be able to use my imac for live streaming and just hook up the output via hdmi into a splitter - one into an elgato as an input source for obs and the other to a decent IPS panel and at the same time grab and go whenever i want to go and work from a coffee shop or the back of a van (bookdocking and van dwelling!)

if you are a gamer what's your favorite kit for gaming on the go? please drop your links on @steemhunt i'd love to see what bits of kit you have your eyes on -- i did look at e-gpu addon boxes but i don't really want to be carrying around a number of boxes and devices -- something all in one works better for me.

Oh I dig this. I have a way bigger and more clunky ROG back at home!

yeah even thou i'd have to use windows... spit... for gaming and video editing it would be a nice bit of kit.

I've been a Windows fan all my life and last year took the leap for a Mac. And I must say that I adore it.

i changed when i was about 18/20 i guess because of video editing really and i never looked back -- recently thou for gaming i've been thinking of getting a second machine for that for streaming.

Thing would have to have crazy good thermals to not cook your legs like a steak if it has a 1080!

i'd have it on a cooler panel. but yeah for sure.

Holy cow, I've paid less for cars!

Impressive technology though in such a small chassis. Mega multitasking in that it'll compute and roast our man berries at the same time.

i'd have it on a cooler but yeah, cool tech!

impressive unique design!
I didn't know ASUS has this lineup. It's interesting they sacrificed the touchpad for cooling gears.
