Hunter's comment

so we all know and love graphene

because it powers some of the most active blockchains in the world including the one you are reading this from right now, but like any system there is always room for someone to come along look at the code base, consider a few different ways of working and put together a platform that aligns with the way they look at the world -- that's kinda what gravity protocol did.

the key points then from this new 'proof-of-importance' blockchain then ..

  • Emission depends on real economy (=network) growth.
  • Active users should be rewarded
  • Velocity should be solved through spending, not HODL-ing

quite brave and admirable qualities if they can pull this off and so far they are doing a damn good job to get this out there -- @dayleeo my other half has been helping with the copy for the website and actually has been paid in steem (crypto) for doing so and i've been speaking to one of the guys to help with potentially aligning 'developers' up with the concepts that have been floating around my head since i've been using steemit.

you'll be hearing me a lot talk about past, present and future in my posts :)

if this seems interesting to you (and it should because even thou i don't understand ANY of the maths i DO understand what things they believe should be present in their blockchain) do check out the blueprint below for more information.

I think the URL supposed to be https://www.gravityprotocol.org/ not https://gravity.io/ because it gives 403 error (maybe because of referral code).

will fix.

fixed.

Thanks! It seems very interesting project although I can't understand the maths lol. It says "1.5% Airdrop Steem" -> I wonder how it will be performed.

have a chat with them @gravity-protocol and yes, i cannot understand the maths either (obviously!) but i like what they are trying to achieve, the intention of their blockchain seems interesting.

great hunt and a great project- well done!
