"Dialogflow (formerly Api.ai, Speaktoit) is a Google-owned developer of human-computer interaction technologies based on natural language conversations."

I have used these to create chat-bots in the past and I believe they're a great tool to get you started, they offer a rich feature set which allows you to get your first chatbot off the ground with relatively little technical experience.

To give you an overview, you can find a list of features they have here:

  1. Ability to have multiple agents and chatbot versioning
  2. Ability to create intents and use pre-built domains of knowledge
  3. Ability to create entities
  4. Ability to configure actions & contexts
  5. Reporting
  6. Multiple Channel Integrations
  7. Rich messaging
  8. Ability to create linear and non-linear dialogues

If you're new to any of the things mentioned above, I would recommend that you check their documentation out as they'll explain it better than I could. You can find this here

One of the best parts about the platform is that it's free and allows anyone to go on and get started, all you'll need is Google Account. I really do think this tool would be great for anyone who is looking to get started building their first chatbot, learn the key concepts of natural language solution and wants to build something for a small project.
