Motion controlled SmartMirror showing time and temperature in background with the possibility of adding any widget to the menu. The camera is behind the two-way mirror to get the best possible look. The screen and camera are managed by a raspberry pi. The motion is managed by a server running in python with OpenCV, the server web is in NodeJS.

This is one gadget I don't understand. I use a mirror to brush my teeth and shave in the morning and that is it. I know women use it to get ready and dress up ,but who is going to actually use this. I can see it as a gimmick and it looks like a waste of money.

Now, this is impressive and new. When getting dressed for work in the early hours of the day, in front of your mirror, you could basically search for all info needed without your smart phone and save less time rather than having divided attention. Definitely, I know it would give much more detail than a normal mirror and probably get details in highest magnification! Interesting hunt!
