If you are not really insanely young, you should remember those times where you had to figure out a bunch of distorted alphanumerics before you were allowed to do anything meaningful with a website. This was supposed to make sure that you are human. Along with time the process got easier and most of the time we just click on a box and we are good to go. Now we have reCAPTCHA v3 that gets rid of the need for any friction with the user.

I have no idea about the effects of this on privacy. But from a purely technical point of view, this stuff is awesome. Both users and the owners of the websites will have a much easier time.

ReCaptcha is definitely an excellent technology to prevent spam and automated submissions. This latest version looks more interesting and seems to provide an additional layer of security.

sometimes recpatcha is buggy when google or other apps are asking for confirmation i hope this is fixed
