TaaS is a Terminal as a Service project with very few minor limitations. you can mostly do whatever you want with it.

  • You have root privileges with Sudo installed
  • You get 2GB per terminal
  • There is a 100MB per file size limit
  • Accessed using your browser
  • Delete your terminals anytime and your won't be tracked (except for the amount of terminals you have created

This is similar to digital ocean virtual server I used Ubuntu in my browser through that. I would try this one too, Didn't see any words on its pricing or its free?

First time I saw such cloud service. Not sure what its difference with other platforms such as c9.io which has a full-blown IDE. Perhaps this is a more lighter version?

One thing I don't like about it is what's written in the hunt - they access your data.

Great for staff that work remotely on projects. Organizations can make use of this tool and reduce cost on hardware and softwae

I have used Linux for years and prefer it to Windows and Mac operating systems and I like the idea that I can access and work on my Linux machine using only a browser anywhere in the world. It does worry me a bit that they have access to my data though. Nice hunt!

This is a great tool for enthusiasts to learn about Linux right inside their browser, without any need to install one locally.
Nice hunt, will give this a try to learn some Linux commands.
