I just love the whole idea of it. Smoking is something that hurt both the smoker and those around the smoker via second hand smoking.

You might have to open the image in a new tab to read clearly. The bottom line is that smoking kills and when it doesn't it gives cancer and many other health disruptions. Here are few effects of second hand smoking from official CDC website.

Here is some reply for you,

Sometimes its genetics, the smoking would be the triggering effect for your lung cancer brought by your ancestors or your great grandpas. Even if you dont smoke, and just 2nd hand smoking, you may still get a cancer for not smoking.

That said, I prefer smoking cannabis than tobacco.

Very smart idea! It can hardly be a quiting method for smoking but I am sure it can definitely help. Obviously lack of nicotine can make people to smoke more. Anyway Great hunt!

Great hunt!

I don't personally smoke, but my wife does. She's tried to give up quite a few times over the years, but keeps coming back to the cigarettes.

This does look very promising.

I'd be very tempted to buy one myself, and sabotage her cigarettes one by one, punching tiny little holes into each filter. Now, before you start freaking out in the comments, I said "tempted" - I wouldn't actually do this (it's her choice, not mine).

But if the net result was less damage to her health, and a higher chance she could give up, it'd almost be worth it. In my [imaginary] plan, I'd tell her after a month or two what had been happening, and she'd then have a much better chance of quitting (as she would have been reducing her intake over a period of time).

I hope a few Steemians who might need this product actually do try it out - and if you do, good luck, I hope it works for you.

I have close family and friends that have died from smoking. Thank you a lot for sharing! I'm going to share this hunt on my regular social media and also I'm going to tag some people.

I was wondering, and I guess that it is not possible to make tiny holes with a needle or something else. I don't think this device is easy to get here in my country, but I'm going to investigate anyway.

Smoking is injurious to health is a slogan of Healthcare centers since last couple of decades but smokers don't bother it. Sometime they want to quit but they can't. This device Filtrim claims that this can be helpful for those smokers who want to quit because it is Clinically Proven Device that Helps to Quit Smoking.

very good hunt!
Actually i am useing vape now to quit but for sure this one also works well for others.
The main goal is the same. Quit that disgusting habit.
And i know it is not easy. Once i quit for 1 year than i started again. Even i hate it to be honest.
I just hope this time i will be stronger and hope this product will help alsp to many people around the world. Great innovation😉

I won't argue about that study, since I didn't read it but just have to say here that statements sound kinda "mehhh" to me actually. Besides that I'm not really sure about the smoke feeling with those wholes. I guess everybody ever rolled a cigarette or any other smokeable on his owns knows that just a little tiny whole anywhere in the paper results in just a not comfortable and weird smoking experience. At that point I would like to know if you have tested this product?

Besides that I really do see this not really helping anybody to quit smoking. It sounds strange but its just like that: Either you quite and smoke none or you do not quit thats it. There is just no middle ground. And we all know how people are thinking and that is why I see this having the potential that many are smoking more since they get the feeling it is "healthier".

PS: finding pretty much nothing when searching for that study is also kinda strange

I remember, when I used to be a smoker, that I used to cut the filters of the cigarettes that were extra light. This way they tasted stronger and I had more satisfaction, so I don't really see how it would help to quit as well. But it is still a great post

Wow, this is a great device for smoking people. It looks very promising for me smokers. But I think this device really can not help those people to quit smoking, who do not want to give up smoking, or as long as the smoker does not want to leave it. It may be that for some time this device helps in quitting smoking. But I think this device will help people around the world.

Amazing hunt really. such inventions really help humanity in large. A smoker not only harmful for himself but also for others.

Quitting smoking is really a great task and this Filtrim product definitely help a smoker to quit. Amazing idea to gradually reduce nicotine and tar intake.

Ok just to let you guys know! Talked to some medical guys and also checked the international database a few times and to be sure asked a friend to double check it. There is no study of this anywhere published this is just a SCAM!

A lots of people are addicted to smoking , they can't leave smoking even if they want , but due to addiction they can't and it leads to severe and dangerious diseases like cancer, ashtama etc.

Here it seems very good and promising product that may kill addiction to the smoking gradually .

While every effort and innovation that helps quit smoking seems good, I doubt any significant success rate they achieve. This product too promises some magic. But I wonder why a smoker will ever like to use it if it reduces nicotine concentration to 90%!!!

What exactly a smoker pays for to smoke? Isn't it nicotine? If nicotine is taken out, it will make a smoker smoke more frequently ,,,just like bidi. It is only going to increase the cost of smokers and more smoke in the environment IMO.

Would be nice if this works. I wonder though, since the nicotine is gone within days from the ex-smokers body and the urge to smoke is more a habit rather than the addiction to nicotine itself, at least that is what I think, regardless of what scientists say and state.
