A bug when powering down/cancelling power down

in steemit-bug •  8 years ago

Hey, a friend of mine noticed a bug on the wallet.

He recently tried the power down function and it worked, but now he wants to cancel it and it gives him this error message:

He was over 100 SP when he powered down but can't cancel the power down now even though he invested more and is at 230 SP now. I told him it might be cause some witnesses are creating accounts with 50 SP nowadays because of the price, thus the account may think he is trying to power down but needs at least 500 SP to do so, so its not even letting him cancel the power down.

Anyone got any ideas what it might be? Just thought I'd report it in case others might have issues with the same thing in the future.

The dynamic registration fee based limit is a "feature".
However, unable to cancel could be a bug.

//Edit: current account creation fee is "account_creation_fee": "30.000 STEEM"

ah, I can't use github unfortunately. But yes, it wouldn't let him cancel power down, might be cause of the account creation fee being 30 and 10x that is 300 SP to power down, but cancelling it shouldn't have a limit.

Thanks for replying and acknowledging the bug though. Hope someone more tech-savvy has the time to look into it.
