Hello my fellow steemians I just want to share to you the success Project Design Exhibit of our work and today I will explain to you how this machine works. This is intended to the steemians who are not present in our Project Design Exhibit yesterday and I will explain it to you so that you will be informed from our project.

Automatic Sand Filter Machine

This is a machine that is used to filter the sand by separating the fine one and the coarse one. In this machine we manage to make it more innovative than previous machines. We incorparated the principle of electronics and we used the Ultrasonic Sensor as the sensor of our machine which is use to sense the level of the container if it is full, then if it detects then the whole system will stop. This can be done by integrating the relay module and arduino uno circuit, with the use of these it will execute and interpret the signal transmitted by the ultrasonic sensor.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Step 1

IMG_20180215_152834.jpg

The source of energy of the machine is in the inconvenience outlet from there it can get 220V AC and that supply enters the AC Motor. AC Motor is a device use to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. This mechanical energy is in the form of rotational motion.

Step 2

IMG_20180215_152902.jpg

In transmitting the mechanical work of motor, using the belts, pulleys and shafting it can be transfered from the source to a specific area. The pulleys and shafting is connected to each other so if the pulley will turn then the shafting will also turn and using the belts it will connect one pulley to another pulley and in that way the rotational motion will be transferred.

Step 3

IMG_20180215_152938.jpg

Since the main concern of this machine is to have a horizontal motion in order to execute the filtering process of the machine then it uses the connecting rod or linkage in order to convert rotational motion into horizontal motion.

Step 4

In this part the filtering screen is now moving horizontally. This will be the time that the perso will supply the raw sand and put it there. In that moment it will filter the raw sand.

Step 5

IMG_20180215_153014.jpg

As the machine is on operation there will be a small vibrations and these will serve as importance because of these the sand will move downwards due to vibrations.

Step 6

IMG_20180215_153021.jpg

All thee filtered sand will be stored in this container and afterwards if ever the level of the sand will go up then the Ultrasonic Sensor will detect it.

Step 7

IMG_20180215_153051.jpg

This sensor can be found below the mouth of the machine and it is responsible for the detection if ever the cointaner is already full and it transmit small electricity to the arduino uno circuit.

Step 8

IMG_20180215_152921.jpg

This is the Arduino Uno circuit and Relay Module. This is responsible for interpreting the electricity transmitted by the ultrasonic sensor. If this circuit will read it then it will stop the functioning of the motor and the whole system will stop. In this time moment the small pebbles left on the filtering screen will be eliminated manually.

That's all for this machine and I hope you learn something from this one.

Congratulations to everyone who passed on this exhibit and will proceed to the Final Stage

Honestly that's super epic! I once spent a 10 hour day sifting sand in Nepal and my back has never been the same since! Such a useful tool!

I am so glad that you appreciate our Project Design mate :)
