As we all know every day when we wake up we have to make decisions. Some more than others; some have to make decisions that are more important than others. Nonetheless they are choices and decisions have to be made.
Some decisions a person make is powered by earlier plans and/or a previous agenda they are working on. Some people make responsible decisions really easy while others find their selves with the intentions to make good decision. They turn out to be the wrong decision and vice-versa. Some people just flat out make the wrong decisions and try to get others to make the wrong decisions.
On Steemit we also have to make decisions. I am an upvote bot user and I read and learn a lot of pro’s and con’s about using the upvote bid bots. I have chosen to slow down on using the bid bots for a while. Not, because, I am against them because I am for them. The ones who use the right decisions in respect towards Steemit. That is the truth! I cannot put myself in their shoes because I dealt with them from a consumer point of view.
So, if an upvote owner morally ask these six questions and they are all Yes answers; these are the upvote bots I would want to support.
UPVOTE BOT OWNERS | The six questions |
---|
Is it contributing to the good health of steemit? |
Is it safe for the consumer to the point where they are receiving the service they paid for? |
Do it follow the TOS of Steemit and not contribute intentional to the violation of the TOS? |
Does this venture maintain the Steemit integrity and is ethical towards the steemit community? |
Is it accepted and respected by members of the Steemit community? |
Does what it represent allow people to add value and good character towards the intention of its use? |
If you are an owner and you think it is a few no’s in there I would like to hear why. Although, I have seen the departure of some upvote bot there are others that are hanging in there. Only “you” the owner knows what is going on behind the scene. Why the early departures?
Throughout the time I’ve been on this site, I have never contacted a fellow Steemian and asked for a follow for follow or for an upvote. I am a member of steemfollower and they offer a service for that. I offer a small upvote service also. When someone ask me for a follow for follow and/or plz upvote. I usually refer them to steemfollower.
There is nothing wrong with asking because sometimes I might do the upvote and follow for follow. I still tell them about an available service that meets their request. I use resistance skills when I say no to their behavior if I feel they are wrong in some aspect. I have the right to say yes or no and it’s based on the six questions I mentioned earlier.
