The UAE Ministry of Health denied the news that was circulated through social media about the ability of hot water to treat diabetes.

The Ministry of Health monitored the circulation of the members of the community to a video with misleading scientific claims about the ability of hot water to recover from diabetes, which is not true, said Dr. Ameen Amiri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Assistant to Public Health Policy in a statement on Saturday.

He added that such sections are related to the treatment of chronic disease spread in countries, the region, can not be traded only after being confirmed by the health authorities, which is mandated to announce the treatments adopted at the state level and the world.

Al-Amiri pointed out that the dissemination and circulation of these misleading rumors may cause great harm to diabetics resulting from the cessation of the use of treatment of the disease without reference to health care providers.

Dr. Abdul Razzaq al-Madani, head of the Diabetes Division of the Emirates Medical Association, said the rumors are misleading and should not be published because they are not documented by scientific experiments and medical research to prove that hot water is treating diabetes.

"It is well known that drinking water frequently through drinking or intravenous leads to increased urination and thus reduce the amount of sugar to be rid of it through the secretion in the urine."
