☀️ Steemit School - What you should not do in Steemit?

in steemit-help •  7 years ago  (edited)

1. Spam comments:

Do not post same comments everywhere. Steemit community does not like it. I know some steemians who are directly flagging spam comments. It will decrease your reputation. You are spending your valuable time, so make proper use it

2. Resteem:

You should contribute to the community. Always resteem is not a good idea. You can resteem but you should also put your content

3. Plagiarism

You should not copy of other posts, content without informing them. It is better to make your own. Chetah Bot is very active. First It will warn you. You will be black-listed for repeated abuses.

4. Do not dump everything on Steemit:

I know you are excited about steemit like me. It will pay you for your posts, upvote and resteem. Exciting? isn't it? This does not happen before that's why we are excited. This does not mean that you submit 50 posts per day. It is not a wise decision. It is not possible to become a superstar on Steemit overnight. Take a deep breath, relax and post regularly.

5. Begging for upvote:

If you post quality content, You will be discovered soon by steemit user. without submit a quality post, begging for upvote is not a good idea.

6. Irrelevant Tag

Use your tag wisely. Unnecessary tagging is not a good idea. Steemit community does not like it. To find your perfect tag, [You can use this website(https://steemit.com/tags).

7. Do not Fight with Senior Member:

If someone flagged you, there may a reason. Communicate with him, know the reason and act on it. If you are flagged for overposting, stop overposting.

Yes, you've pointed out my short list of pet peeves. I upvoted you for that.

Unfortunately, there is a defect in human thinking which manifested itself early on in the internet and is also a part of the steemit community, that being there are certain people acting and behaving online as they never every would in a real-life face-to-face situation. And you can't get through to them. Spammers. Abusers. Bullies. You know who I'm talking about.

If you're one of them, take time to reflect inward as to the countless others you hurt.

Thanks for your helpful post. But i want to know is there any profit to me if I reSteem other post.
To be honest Personally I do not go with this job. U can check my blog if U wish.

Nowadays I see many people come to Fb or other social media and ask for follow or upvote their post.
But no body ask to check his or her post to curate. So Pathetic.
