Its time to pay my weekly rent again to my Parents and thanks to Steemit i am able to regularly earn enough money to contribute, while living my Tree house life.
I would just send Bitcoin or ethereum to pay my parents but Cash makes a bigger Splash and lets me show non crypto people that its REAL
And So I used my Bitpay Debit card, and @bittrex http://www.bittrex.com to sell my SBD for BTC or you can just use blocktrades.us and to convert the bitcoin to cash just use a Bitcoin ATM near you if you don't have your BitPay card ($10 one time fee, comes to your address, and it lets you withdrawl cash at any ATM using Bitcoin, so every ATM becomes a bitcoin ATM!) but as you can see, the Bittrex plus Bitpay card makes it very easy to turn Steem into cash within minutes.
And Bitpay card lets you use ANY ATM as a Bitcoin ATM! Man ...haha look ..money is money....this just makes you realize that yeah Bitcoin is money.....doesn't change the fact that its still about Saving Money! SAVING is still hard to do! we have to all jus stop impulsively buying stuff we don't need! But hey i guess someone has to support the new global economy of amazon boxes just going back and forth
Its honestly not something to worry about! You can use your Bitpay card and just keep the bitcoins as Bitcoin, and when you wanna send em you just use the app and "top up" and boom super fast it lets you spend the bitcoins as cash on ur debit card instantly, and i mean, debit card technology has been around for a while, why wouldnt this shit just work well? hah
I know that eventually we should be paying each other directly with crypto currency, but when I convert My steem to Cash I get to make posts like this!
And by bringing Steem into the "physical" world in many peoples eyes at least, I can drive home points about how its just as real as any other form of money we use! Most people who are just smart and keep their steem as steempower or trade it for bitcoin but hold onto it! But unfortunately we have many new users earning lots of steem and just cashing it out not saving any of it and so we all suffer as the price of steem goes down, heh its ok it will go back up, an itll go up fast! I just hope I can get more people to join Steemit after seeing more stories like this one ...We need to get the internet masses to see Steemit as more than just another Social Networking website with a crypto currency gimmick! we are so much more than that!
My next project , or ONE of my next projects, will be with @monkimo at San Diego ComicCon to stand outside of Comic Con and hold up Steemit Signs and represent Steemit outside Comic Con and get some free marketing and free advertising for steemit!

I really like your post. It reminds me of when i first joined the community and earned some few steem dollars. All i wanted to do was withdraw it for proof of its authenticity. I asked @tj4real and he told me to use bittrex and a local exchange company in our country called cb-tek ghana and in a few minutes time i had confirmation that the money had been paid. It was so exciting and i guess should have written something about it. Its not too late and i will be adding it very soon to my blog. Thank you for sharing this with the community and for those out there doubting, its real so pour your heart into it

there is no fee, its just the ATM fees and then i expect there to be a conversion fee like how coinbase charges you 3 percent to convert bitcoin to US dollar but Bitpay doesnt have this! whatever you convert you get but there does seem to be a fee, they dont give you spot bitcoin rates i dont think
anyway its same price as a bitcoin ATm for large pourchases
for small purchases its best to just use a Bitcoin ATm if your local Bitcoin ATM can do 5 percent which mine does, and that ends up being teh cheapest way to go ....but this card saves me time going to the btc atm, and with this card i can use ANY atm and i only use the ATM when i have to use cash to buy canabis at the dispensary which SHould have already accepted bitcoin by now but they are ust being lazy./....
anyway this bitpay card lets you just spend ur bitcoins without having to convert a bunch of BTC tio cash, u get a bitcoin wallet to keep the btc in and when u wanna send some u "top off" your atm card...its crazy how digiotal money works, its BEEN fake for a while and bitcoin will just keep going uip in value as the dollar keeps going down...but if the dollar realy was experiencing crazy inflation, wuoldnt we see price of goods go up like cxrazy??!! First of all, I don't live in the US.. I don't have any BTC ATMs here yet..
I have heard about those crypto cards before, but usually they have very high fees. Maybe this one is a bit different, if so, that's really amazing. Lol the governments of the world are going to collapse soon from nobody paying taxes anymore because of crypto haha!
Whatever, you will always get those non-believers in anything in life. They are the ones, when things truly do start working, who end up broke :) I ain't got time for them people!

Hey Zach, I haven’t made my introductory post yet (been busy) but I will this weekend. I have NEVER signed up with any social media site before. I am probably 1 out of 100 people that do not have a Facebook/Instagram/Twitter account. Yet I signed up with Steemit and have started posting whenever I think I can share a good content. My first two posts were about my bets on the French Open and Wimbledon and I wanted to stick with tennis betting as I believe I have the most knowledge and experience on it. However as I start learning more and more about crypto currencies, I may start making posts about them. If I think it will bring value to the readers. But I digress. Anyway the point I want to make is that I am one of 100 (if not more) person who does not believe in the traditional social media platforms ie FB, IG, Twitter but here I am on Steemit.
