Or somebody can start an exchange with Steem as the base trading pair for crypto and also offer fiat exchanges directly. Would be nice to separate steem a bit from bitcoin. A coinbase for steem/sbd would be nice.

I DON'T wanta coinbase for teem, I want a steem with just a gift card from fiat using grocery store cash regsters as the exchange! I think we could even sel steem gift cards at coffee shops and stuff around the country 1!!
