Announcing The Launch Of ACOM DVD Which Replaces ACOM DVT

We are delighted to announce the release of our updated version of ACOM DVT, which comes after the issues we told you about yesterday. We have just launched the ACOM DVD token - which sounds much better to us anyway! It's very important that you all understand now that the ACOM DVT token has been retired and is no longer in use. So please do not buy any more ACOM DVT. This market is now closed.

We intend to start exactly where we left off. So at the point at which we retired ACOM DVT 3200 tokens had been sold, with 200 sold from the latest batch of 1000 tokens we just released. However, 491 ACOM DVT were dumped onto the market yesterday, with 60 sold at 1.8 Steem. We have therefore decided not to resell the remaining 431 tokens and instead share them between all the other investors, proportionate to their holding.

This means that 431 former ACOM DVT tokens have been deducted from 3200 ACOM DVD to give us a total of 2769 tokens. We have divided 2769 by 431 to give us our unit price for the allocation of the free 431 tokens we intend to share among the remaining investors. We hope you'll agree this is a very fair and generous offering to you guys.

We will be, in effect, airdropping ACOM DVD into your Steem-Engine wallets. The airdrop has been completed but the additional free 431 tokens will be distributed later today. So please check your Steem-Engine wallets and make sure you now have your new ACOM DVD tokens. The amount of ACOM DVD you will receive will be exactly the same as your current holding of ACOM DVT but with a few extra free tokens from the 431 dumped tokens we are sharing with you. Nothing has changed in terms of TRX dividends and as regards qualifying for ACUV nothing has changed there either. You still get 1 ACUV for every 20 ACOM DVD you buy from us.

As we previously mentioned we're picking up precisely where we left off and that means we have 800 ACOM DVD remaining from the latest batch listed on the market.

We hope you guys appreciate what we have done here and why we had to do it. Thankfully the disruption caused has been minimal and we can continue to grow our very unique investment club with investors who care about the unique community we are building with ACOM DVD, and who realise that succeeding on Steemit is a two way street. You can not just take and give nothing in return.

Could you explain more fully what happened? I don't understand why this person was not allowed to sell his tokens on an open market, at whatever price he chose to sell them. That seems "wrong," but I am looking at the situation from the outside. I don't have all the information, which would help me understand the justification.

I think you have raised a very legitimate point, one that I had planned on bringing up. I have not been with ACOM long, but I have looked around on the Discord server, I have had a look at the website and I even read the White Paper. I don't remember coming across anything that suggested we needed to hold on to our tokens until they are all sold out. I understand the logic, and the advantage to those who hold, but I am not aware of any agreements that we not sell our tokens. Now, if this individual who "dumped" his tokens promised that he wouldn't, that's an altogether different story. A man that does not keep his word is not much of a man to me. But you see, we are missing some very fundamental details here. ACOM has been extremely generous and transparent with me thus far; I hope that this continues to be the case now.

The point is absolutely a fair one to raise but it must be considered in the context of what happened. Yes @famigliacurione the person in question did indeed give us that assurance you speak of in exchange for considerable support from us, which he then reneged on. He did this in a extraordinary display of extreme ingratitude, selfishness and spite. We did not have that arrangement with any other community member except him, which he completely betrayed. This is why we felt action was required.

As you know we are a very generous project and you yourself have seen that. We are also very transparent. We want to be absolutely clear. Anyone can sell their tokens at any time. We have seen a few people do that already, for their tokens to be grabbed by other investors very soon after they appeared on the market. Anyone is entitled to dump some or all of their tokens if they want to pull out, we have no issue with that whatsoever.

Welcome to the new Acom DVD, the important thing is to move forward and generate movements that generate profits. I appreciate those additional tokens.

I find it excellent that a good amount of the new batch released have already been sold.

Me parece muy justa y bueno el cambio que han echo si es por el bien del proyecto bienvenido sea, lo bueno de todo es que seguimos teniendo nuestro token y los mismo beneficios, aparte de ello una retribución extra del token, espero que estos cambios no afecten en nada, y sigan los éxitos. I greatly respect the steps taken by the Acom Team in order to keep it's services functional and true to its investors. I have also read the response given to the previous users who have asked to know why such steps was taken, and respect the honest answer given.

May I also request that the ACOM DVT market page be completely removed from Steem-engine since we now have the ACOM DVD fully in place. Thank you!
