Introduction

As of April 10, 2018, the number of tags on the steemet is 249 tags, 6,910,813.00 posts, 12,373,096.00 comments and $ 120,235,377.10 payouts. From these data it can be seen that the number of comments is almost double the number of posts. This means that on average 1 post was commented 2 times. The interesting thing is whether there is a relationship between the number of posts and comments on the number of payouts. If so, what percentage of the relationship. Before answering the question let us look at the following findings.

Five tags with highest payouts

Here are the top five paid tags: life ($ 10,297,253,147), steemit ($ 7,418,889,315), photography ($ 5,987,467,333), steam (4,477,147,636), blog ($ 4,443,407392). Based on the data in Graph 1 can be explained the balance between the number of posts with the number of comments actually get the highest pay, for example life tag. This means that every post should get a balanced comment, no less and not excessive. A large number of post and comment also do not guarantee high pay, such as photography tag, where the number of posts and comments more than the steemit tag but get paid lower than steemit. This means the quality of posts and comments also affects the number of payouts

Five tags with highest posts.

Five tags with the most posts are life (647,112.00), bitcoin (233,193.00), cryptocurrency (201,238.00), blog (198.087.00) and art (178,018.00). Based on the data in Graph 2, it can be explained that only two tags have in common with the five tags that get the highest payouts are life and blog and there of tag is different: bitcoin, cryptocurrency and art. This situation further strengthens the argument that the number of posts that many do not necessarily get the highest payouts. This means posts with good quality will get a lot of upvote so that it affects the number of payouts.

Five tags with highest comments.

Five tags with the most comments are kr (969,719.00), photography (927,869.00), steemit (777,033.00), introduceyourself (694,170.00) and life (657,724.00). Based on the data in Graph 3 it can be concluded that there are 3 tags equal to 5 tags with the highest payouts of life, steemit and photography, but there are 2 different tags kr and introduceyourself. This means that the relative amount of comment affects the amount of payouts but the comment in question is a quality comment.

The relationship between Posts, Comments and payouts statistically.

What has been described above is the relationship of posts, comments and payouts in statistical descriptions and separately, but in this section will be shown statistically linked through multiple regression. Notice the Tables below.

Based on Table 4. above obtained R number of 0.937. This shows that there is a very strong relationship between the number of posts and comments on the number of payouts. While the value of R Square is 0.878.

Whereas R Square was obtained for 0878, (87.8%). This shows that the percentage of contribution of independent variable (Post and Comments) to dependent variable (Payouts) equal to 87,8%. While the remaining 12.2% influenced or explained by other variables, such as curator upvote or others. This means, if the tag wants to get high payouts then the tag should be active and regularly create quality posts and comments.

Table 5 explains how much posts and comment variables relate to the high payouts. The posts variable has a coefficient value or influence value of 0.682 (68.2%) with a significance value of 0.000, it means that posts have a very significant effect on payouts value means if the number of posts increases then the value of payouts will increase. The effect of comments on payouts is 0.325 (32.5%), meaning comments have a positive relationship with payouts, meaning that if the number of comments increases then payouts will increase as well.

Based on the above description it can be concluded that posts have a very large influence on payouts compared with comments. This happens because without any posts there is no comment and also no upvote so there are no payouts.

Conclusion

Getting upvote is one of the steemian motivations. A lot of upvote will be obtained if the quality of posts is good (in an objective upvoter condition). There are tags with a large number of posts but no higher payouts (see aceh tags), but there are tags with fewer posts that get more payouts (see africa tags), compared with the aceh tag. Although we realize one person can add 5 tags in their post.

It is undeniable that subjectivity cannot be avoided in these circumstances, but the most important thing is to please post something that is the best and different and can benefit science and give sincere and meaningful comments for better improvement. Good relationships must be maintained, know each other, whether real or virtual must continue.

Sampai dengan tanggal 10 April 2018, jumlah tag pada steemet adalah 249 tag, 6,910,813.00 posts, 12,373,096.00 comments serta $120,235,377.10 payouts. Dari angka tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa jumlah comments adalah hampir dua kali lipat dari jumlah post artinya secara rata-rata 1 post diberi comment sebanyak 2 kali. Hal yang menarik adalah apakah terdapat hubungan antara jumlah posts dan comments terhadap jumlah payouts. Kalau ada berapa persen hubungan tersebut. Sebelum menjawab pertanyaan tersebut marilah kita lihat temuan-temuan berikut ini.

Lima tag dengan payouts tertinggi.

Inilah lima tag dengan bayaran tertinggi yaitu life ($10,297,253.147), steemit ($7,418,889.315), photography ($5,987,467.333), steem (4,477,147.636), blog ($4,443,401.392). Berdasarkan data dalam Grafik 1 dapat dijelaskan keseimbangan antara jumlah posts dengan jumlah comment justru mendapatkan bayaran yang tertinggi, misalnya tag life. Hal ini berarti bahwa setiap post harus mendapat comments yang berimbang, tidak kurang dan juga tidak berlebihan. Jumlah post dan comment yang banyak juga tidak menjamin mendapatkan bayaran yang tinggi, seperti tag photography dimana jumlah posts dan comments lebih banyak dari tag steemit namun mendapat bayaran yang lebih rendah dari steemit. Hal ini berarti kualitas posts dan comments juga mempengaruhi jumlah payouts.

Ini berarti posts dengan kualitas yang baik akan mendapatkan upvote yang banyak sehingga berdampak pada jumlah payouts.

Hubungan antara Posts, Comments dan payouts secara statistik.

Apa yang telah diuraikan di atas adalah hubungan posts, comments dan payouts secara deskripsi statistik dan secara terpisah, namun pada bagian ini akan ditampilkan hubungan secara statistik melalui regresi berganda. Perhatikan Tabel-Tabel di bawah ini.

Berdasarkan Tabel 4. di atas diperoleh angka R sebesar 0,937. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara jumlah posts dan comments terhadap jumlah payouts. Sementara nila R Square diperoleh sebesar 0.878, (87.8%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase sumbangan pengaruh variabel independen (Posts dan Comment) terhadap variabel dependen (Payouts) sebesar 87,8%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 12,2% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain, misalnya upvote curator dan lain-lainnya. Ini berarti bahwa apabila suatu tag ingin memperoleh payouts yang tinggi maka tag tersebut harus aktif dan rutin membuat posts dan comment yang berkualitas.

Tabel 5 menjelaskan berapa besar hubungan variabel posts dan comment terhadap tinggi rendahnya payouts. Variabel posts memiliki nilai koefisien atau nilai pengaruh sebesar 0.682 (68.2%) dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000, hal ini berarti bahwa posts memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap nilai payouts artinya apabila jumlah posts meningkat maka nilai payouts pun akan meningkat. Pengaruh comments terhadap payouts adalah sebesar 0.325 (32.5%), artinya comments memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan payouts, artinya apabila jumlah comment meningkat maka payouts akan meningkat pula.

Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa posts memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap payouts dibandingkan dengan comment. Hal ini terjadi karena tanpa ada posts maka tidak ada comment dan juga tidak upvote sehingga tidak ada pula payouts.

Kesimpulan

Mendapatkan upvote adalah salah satu motivasi dari steemian. Upvote yang banyak akan diperoleh apabila kualitas posts bagus (dalam kondisi upvoter objektif). Terdapat tag dengan jumlah post yang banyak tetapi tidak mendapat payouts yang lebih tinggi (liat tag aceh), namun terdapat tag dengan jumlah posts yang sedikit justru mendapat payouts yang lebih banyak (liat tag africa), bandingkan dengan tag aceh. Walaupun kita menyadari satu orang dapat menambah 5 buah tag dalam post mereka.

Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa subjektivitas tidak dapat dihindari dalam kondisi ini, namun yang terpenting adalah posts sesuatu yang terbaik dan berbeda serta dapat memberi manfaat untuk ilmu pengetahuan serta berilah comments yang tulus dan berarti bagi perbaikan yang lebih baik. Hubungan baik tetap harus dijaga, saling kenal mengenal, baik secara nyata maupun secara virtual harus tetap berlanjut.
