So as you may or may not know, I am going to officially be incarcerated tomorrow, and yeah. It is what it is I guess.
So, I was just kidding about going to jail, but I guess I am still kind of incarcerated. Tomorrow will be my first day of highschool, and I'm not looking forward to it. I get all of these people saying "are you looking forward to school?" or "do you like school?" and my answer is HEEEELLL NAWWW. I hate school, not because i'm bad at it and the work is hard, I usually am an A or B student, but it's because of all of the kids I'm around, which are mostly a bunch of idiots. Especially counting in the fact that I'm going to highschool, and when you mix a bunch of kids going through puberty, things are bound to get a little crazy.
I don't know, in some ways, I like school and some ways I don't...Highschool is much bigger and I will have to get used to it. It's basically like a bigger version of middle school with older kids who are let's say..."Special". It's going to be tough. Growing up is tough. What sucks is summer is over, and now things are getting depressing. UGH.

I do think that highschool is the highlight of most people's lives one way or another, mine was a military school too, a jail's jail, in other words, yet because of the things I did and the experiences I had with 2 of my friends, I think it was the happiest period I had in my life.

Have no clue dude, after 8th grade, I only went to school to get high. Half way through 10th grade a teacher leaned over my shoulder and told me to never come back to his class high, ever again. So I didn't. That was my last day of High School. Wish I had done things different, but it is what it is.

Great post. High school is a big step, don't know where you are, so unsure of your age, but you seem like a very level headed young person. Best advice I can give, is to get the most out of your education that you possibly can, but don't let the bigger school stifle you. Good luck!

HS was hell. No way I'd do it over! Just be yourself. Read a lot of good books. Have your hobbies. March to your own drum. Stay up late and learn about finance and don't be like all those idiots you'll graduate with: you'll never see most of them after graduation, half of them won't ever have a job, and if you can become smarter, work smarter, and think beyond each day, you'll be the 1 percent.

i was also felt the same while I was at high school but after when your school life is over you will going to miss those days. so my advice is to enjoy it because the day after tomorrow might not be there.

Reject all offers from military recruiters (won't help in high school, but can keep you alive after high school)

I rememeber my last day of high school feeling oddly like the end of a minimum security prison sentence.

So I treated it as such. Learned as much as I could considering the circumstances and longed for the day when I could actually be free and live my life.

The reason you feel this way is because you're starting to see through the veil and realize that school is just indoctrination to enslavement. I guess having a steemit blog is a good first step towards somewhat unplugging from the "PATRIX" because this system is patrilineal the matrilineal system was destroyed by the father the son and the holy ghost. A four year sentence, huh? That's not so bad for the crime of being born American!
Every school has a few teachers who will recognize students as individuals and not numbers, and who have a gift for fostering talent and intelligence. Keep your ear to the ground, work out who they are, and do everything in your power to take their classes. (You'll be amazed at how accommodating teachers can be with a student who can introduce themselves and have a meaningful conversation.)
At the same time, recognize the idiots, stay under the radar and turn in your homework. You're not going to change the system and you're not going to get anywhere making enemies of the incompetent. Save your energy for the classes that actually teach you something.
You've got this. It'll go by in a flash, you'll learn a few things, and you may even get lucky.
