A question I ask myself a lot, does only who get benefits enjoys from Steemit? (answer inside)

"No one read my posts!!!, I invest many hours and I HAVE 5 VIEWS AND 0.02 CENTS😢"

source
I started using the platform a little over six months ago,
I remember how my post was swallowed up in a lot of posts.

The frustration that when I invested heavily in the post, there was simply no one to look at.

However, since I started using Steemit I use Steemit primarily for reading information, I feel that the information is less commercialized (because of the decentralization)
I hardly read information on Facebook, so I can use the Instagram to see beautiful pictures.

My personal problem is that there is not enough content in my native language - Hebrew
But thanks to @techslut and @yairdd the problem begins to be solved.

I know that many people will find it hard to understand but it is very difficult for me to read things that are not in my native language fluently

I remember my initial feeling when I entered the Steemit platform

"Well, I'll make money from" like ", even if it's a penny, on Facebook I'm all day user getting thousands of likes and I do not get anything."

But for some reason this thought quickly turned into "how Steemit can help me financially"

I do not like those who are pious, "I'm not here to earn," it can be true in exceptional cases.

On the other hand, I really like to read articles in Steemit, the content is much better than other places.
It's not just that the platform is growing(you can look at statistics about Steemit on @reko profile), the financial incentives give people the inspiration to write about themselves.

I think it was very interesting for me to see posts from my very good friends who are on Facebook.

They choose to be very politically correct instead of writing things about themselves, perhaps through Steemit I would know them better as the famous phrase.

"One post is worth a thousand pictures"😉

Sometimes I think to myself that it was a very nice magazine to get with the best articles that were in Steemit in a certain month.

According to Steemit's statistics there are 61,000 active users.

Steemit website is among the first places in the world according to "Alexa" (among the first 1000)

I do not believe that there are 61,000 people who make a lot of money on Steemit, maybe 5% of them earn something significant.

I see that there are another 75% who really love the platform and another 20% who are trying to pave their way up and make Steemit another income. (According to statistics I made in the Discord group of 250 people)

The future of Steemit looks good to me!
I think even if I were not earning at Steemit, I would go in for reading content.(maybe not everyday)
It's obviously much nicer to earn and much more satisfying that people pay attention to you, obviously it's very annoying that you flag or when someone.
But still, in my opinion even people who do not earn at Steemit benefit from the platform

This is amazing.

Note :

It may also be worth supporting content that is not just in English!
Content in Korean, Chinese, etc.
This way people will create content in foreign languages and attract people from different countries.
(Or do a delegation for people who know how to read foreign languages)
Because most SP is found in English speakers
Steemit is also the site where the largest percentage of visitors is from the United States.
We need a variety

Thanks.

I agree the content on Steemit gets better and better compared to other platforms. Especially after you start following the right people for your particular interests. The monetary side is largely a bonus for most users or a dream to make steemit a fulltime occupation.

Looking forward to seeing where Steemit evolves to!

Israeli users are such a small percentage of the users on Steemit, like 0.001% and we make a lot of noise like we are 20%, just like in real life :)

I totally agree with you, I just love reading posts here! I think I have never read so many posts on other social media platforms like I read here, and that's why I love being here so much.

Oh, and about the Hebrew content, this is why I created @recommendation so I can post about things I like, in Hebrew.

מקווה שיצטבר שם חומר טוב 😜

גם אני :)

Very good post @amiramnoam !If everyone thought like you... Steemit would be better !I think that everything is still ahead.

Hmm
You have a very good concept here.
This is my current situation with a little reputation as well.
I am not feeling the good weather of steemit .
I felt like going off when i got punished but you guys are very motivating.
I wish you help me get back on my grind.
Together we succeed

A very nice experience in steemit
I also now feel the same as before,
Now I'm getting bored because every post I do not have a lot of noise.
But I read your post right now I am motivated to achieve success in steeemit,
Please support and help me to be as successful as you are @amiramnoam

hey @siponk
If steemit makes you feel bored so don't write posts...
write interesting comments like this :)
and then when you have experienced after you saw a lot of (good) posts you can write good posts by yourself :)

I see many users that take profits from comments..
but if you are here only for profits it's very hard to success because the passion to write should come first and read content should come first..

Spot on!

This comment actually says more about your post than the post does.....because it's your post in action. Nicely done!
And I enjoyed the post too BTW :)

You are right

We all want our posts to be seen, doesn't seem like many people have noticed me either. I also aim for a couple minute read posts, since I personally don't like reading walls of text TL;DR Spending hours for pennies is not ideal. That said I feel I still make good content in a shorter format. Though your first statement is what brought me here, I feel similarly to you in that my time spent seems unrewarded. If you ask @yallapapi it's pay to play I find myself agreeing with him, basically this is a closed market for marketing. Pay for upvotes get more traffic, just like when advertisers pay google and facebook. We just eliminated the middle men.

Of course if you are creating high quality content in long forum it only works so long as readers here are interested and tap or click your post. Anyways I know its cutthroat here and the flag wars have degraded the trending page a bit but in the longer term I feel steem is strong and highly supported. The more creators we are able to bring in the better the content and the better content we have to enjoy and be rewarded for doing so! I think The DIY section has huge potential still, lots of focus still on this platform and cryptos in general. Getting tired of it, I'm looking for broader content creation.
(

)

I'm interested and i'll ask, do posts upvoted on weeks or months after their post date still earn any rewards?

I have been seeing many people now have steemit as their fulltime income. I think even I'm a person struggling to grow, being in earlier stages. Persistency will pay for the efforts I believe. Nice article by the way. The First line in this article attracted and dragged me in. 😊

great post.... I am in the US and am still in the " no one reads my posts stage" but my focus is not the stuff the masses are looking for..... So I will have to accept that and keep learning how to catch the attention of more people and make them want to visit my posts....

Your writing is very interesting to read, as you say. I keep writing even though nobody sees and reads my writing. I am sure One day someone will help me.

@starlost i would like to read some of ya posts. I'm also new here. Hit me up on discord @degem2priceless

Thanks for explanation @amiramnoam
I believe within the underlying philosophy of Steem, that is that content producers and curators on social media platforms ought to be paid for the worth that they produce. However, i do not see why employing a blockchain is in the least advantageous for this purpose.

I discovered the Steemit platform a short time ago, and I immediately understood what was its potential. I'm finding some very interesting posts, covering all the topics that interest me most, like art, good food, music, cinema, and much more. I am sure that Steemit will still grow a lot, and I hope that many users will choose to be part of this platform, I feel we are writing the future here. Thanks for the article @amiramnoam, resteemed!

You said yourself @amiramnoam
The future of Steemit looks good to me!
I think even if I were not earning at Steemit, I would go in for reading content.(maybe not everyday)
It's obviously much nicer to earn and much more satisfying that people pay attention to you, obviously it's very annoying that you flag or when someone.
But still, in my opinion even people who do not earn at Steemit benefit from the platform

This is amazing.

Answer of the question is how you have taken steemit. If you make it your only income source then without earning you won't enjoy it.Thanks for the post.@amiramnoam i like your post very much.

Beautiful piece and submission. I initially had same perception as yours when I joined steemit but later realized that things work differently here! Its not all about the money to be made rather the impact and total number of people being inspired/motivated. Now, my life on steemit is totally different and am blessed always.

Completely agree. As I’ve said in one of my posts - decent votes come with decent posts - but definition of a good post is different for everyone. I’ve tried different things to no avail - but I’m not one to give up and I enjoy writing, even if no one is interested.

One of the things I like about steemit is the ability to design my feed. I can count on it to provide me with the things I like to see and read about. Quite liked your thoughts about the platform. You have only been here for six months ... you are doing amazing. Care to share you secrets to a newbie like me:)

Thank you for your sharing

Everyone likes to have a passive income and steemit is an opportunity to earn as well as doing something many enjoy. I don't have much hobbies so steemit is like a hobby that I do before going work and after work. For those who are still struggling, patience and learning are two things that we need. Learning should never stop and success will come as we become better.

Your words have revived my desire to continue after I started to lose hope in steemit Thank you for this topic

#Thanks for a good post. I really enjoyed ur full post. A meaningful post

This got me, it's really true.

I can just imagine if a lot of SP was given to some prominent people from those countries, people who create content in their languages.
This would help to promote and encourage steemians from those areas.
Having whales that you can relate to helps a lot.

Great stuffs unearthed here. It's actually true how we work for Facebook freely. And also most of us are drives here based on our financial incentives

Para mi steemit comprende la democratización de la expresión sin censuras y con incentivos, pues lo seres humanos requerimos de esos incentivos...

Wow! Very well said @amiramnoam..i feel the same way when i started to join steemit..there are lots of questions that I never find the answers yet. 😔

The content on here is so much more insightful and thought provoking than Facebook where it is just selfies, familiy photos and ads. I feel my brain rotting when im mindlessly scrolling without any thought.

The community is brilliant and I have learnt so much already (after being here 3 weeks)

I'm not trying to be one of those theoretical '5%' who actually makes some money using Steemit, but I do find value in seeing that my words and thoughts are seen and pondered on by a very supportive community. Perhaps one of the reasons why I enjoy Steemit posts so much is that it seems as though, because of the verification process possibly, there are not many 'fake accounts' or blatant spammers ruining posts and conversations. Because of this, I feel that the Steemit community is much more sincere and REAL.
Shoutout to this post. Great thoughts and ideas being shared here. Respect.

Nice post, steemit has a large covered article to read and its very educative, this is my third month in steemit, i spend time to write a post and i never have an upvote for it, i believe since upvoting is not free unlike facebook, people find it difficult to appreciate you even when they find such post interesting, but i know if i remain consistence and active one day i will become a whale. And i will never overlook any post i visit without upvoting. Thank you.

I agree that the most important thing is to write interesting things to contribute valuable content, I love your articles are really motivating and educational congratulations.

You are right, I have learn a lot from my six weeks on Steemit here. For instance you some times talk about digital security, life in Israel and art work from there. Through you alone I am beginning to see how life goes for the Hebrew people.

I have a lot of other people I read from, in business, life and others. Also, I have improved in my writings. If you see the last set of post I have made you can see the much improvement. So, on Steemit you learn a lot. The pay is a bonus, a very handsome bonus at that.

Congratulations friend, definitely the participants who speak other languages must publish articles in our own language for this, how to make us feel, take into account their advice.

hi if u want keep in touch with all the news about sneakers Im going to post them in my new account. Thanks :)

You know @amiramnoam I understand you perfectly. I feel that sometimes we must adapt to the platform to be seen in it. However, I always try to read content that is not in my language (Spanish). You do not know what day you are with some quality content. For example today I found you.
Greetings from Venezuela

The hardest thing is writing a post and nobody seeing it. It feels like talking to the wind. Makes you ask yourself if you are just a bad writer. I hope not because it feels great writing here, I'll continue for as long as I find it fun.

Yeah dude.Im here since jan and stuck with shitty reputation. My post also less visible

Hols. No quiero vota y listo. Deseo seguir escribiendo. Existos a todos!!!

you really amiramno, steemit is profitable, especially if there support from you, ha ,, ha ,,
I aspire to many of the steemit this, my expectations of steemit this, I can build houses the future, as to date I have not been able to make it, I still live with parents, thank you for all

Thank you for posting this post I am so motivated by you,
I just use my steemit is also difficult because I do not speak English hard if I use my tribal language,
Hopefully my future will be as successful as you,
Be you as my motivation in steemit

Wow, this article is really expository. I love the way you captured the pain many are feeling after putting in so much hours to prepare an article and yet the response or return is poor. But I believe one thing, consistency can be really helpful in the long run and I think people should try to view steemit as a long term investment, that way they can treat it seriously and when you are serious about something you will almost certainly succeed

Steemit is a journey. Small steps in the learning. Consistency is the key. Try for a goal to upvote 10 times a day (Comments / Articles), write / post one article a week, people will get to know you and your passions.

Vote

Really nice post....i will upvote...

I hear you. I agree we could all benefit for language buttons. A built in translator would be coolly

Wow, I had no idea you only understood Hebrew. Hats off to you, you do a great job!!

enjoys constantly earning money. who doesn't like

yes,i agree with it..
thanks for good post

WOW Its surprising that most of steemits users are located in the US, and very little outside of it. I do agree and thing the content here is great, though there is a lot of crap as well, just like any site you need to filter through it.

Congratulations @amiramnoam, this post is the seventh most rewarded post (based on pending payouts) in the last 12 hours written by a Superhero or Legend account holder (accounts hold greater than 100 Mega Vests). The total number of posts by Superhero and Legend account holders during this period was 40 and the total pending payments to posts in these categories was $3762.37. To see the full list of highest paid posts across all accounts categories, click here.

If you do not wish to receive these messages in future, please reply stop to this comment.

Steemit is not only for the rewards it is about the thoughts you want to share, ideas you want to impart to the whole steemians, but well it is a plus. This is the only platform i think i can last longer. My thoughts are heard and shared without thinking if they will bash me or what. Steemit is full of motivation and inspiration.

Im not sure about supporting other languages i dont understand as im not sure what content it contains. for example anything sexist, homophobic or rascist i would not like too support.but i see your point about getting everyone invovled and that includes all none english speaking people. nice post...

The very nature of the long tail is that most people who produce content will not earn huge amounts of money. It is our job as curators to make sure we fatten that long tail as much as possible to reward as many different people as possible.

That said, just like in music or television, catering to the lowest common denominator will be the most profitable as it will be the most popular with the largest group—a fact of life.

Hey @amiramnoam
Thanks for this post.. This is exactly how i feel! I am just starting out and this post has helped me a lot.. End of the day.. i enjoy creating content.. A lot a lot a lot of effort is put into mine, but i do enjoying sharing the analyses with the world. my writing may not be the best, but ill improve over time.. I think thatrs the most important thing.. If one wants money.. I think working outside is easier.. This is more of a hobby, and a play thing for me, especially since I made a bot to analyse crypto related news all over the net! THanks for this which allowed me to once again find what I like to do =) and not feel frustrated!

=)

Very interesting article thanks for sharing this !

Thanks, you just spoke my thoughts.

Nice post, thanks for sharing. you just spoke my thoughts

many of my friends consider this all about money. and we live need money. the first time I did not agree, had stopped a few months. finally, I open again and try to follow their way .... hahahahah .. and that way does not seem right for me.

so I will fill with happy. not for money ...

Thanx for sharing this information @noam, It's very true that everyone here is with an intent to earn money and people who deny are hypocrites.
Well all languages need to be encouraged, only because English is a global language does not mean other languages hold less importance. I see a lot of post with English and local language version which I feel is very good because it serves everyone, nevertheless if someone is comfortable only with local language even that is good.
I see India is still behind in the usage

Thanks for your post. I'm not sure if I will make money from this. I will just treat it as entertainment and not compare myself :)

Thank you for your post...I myself also also the same question but the only answer I got I can do better soon....I'll learn many things here in steemit and use it in writing.

You really said a lot sir. Especially about piusness. I am here to make money if possible while i read interesting posts like your. May Jehovah bless you for this inspirational.

Ha! My posts only get visits from me, but that is okay to me it is a way vent out rather than getting angry, depressed etc.

The quality on Steemit is really high, I'd love to delete my Facebook account, but it's hard, because everybody is there and their event managment is pretty neat, though Steemit makes much more fun.
