To start, I am an independent journalist/researcher I just want to thank you guys on Steemit for saving me from starving for the next week. I salute you all and from the bottom of my heart thank you.
Last October I got into a car accident which totaled my vehicle I went to court, and the judge requested I pay $800 for reckless driving and other fees despite the fact I wasn't, but that is a story for another day. Almost six months later I lost my job writing at www.wearechange.org due to the Youtube, Google and Amazon adpocalypse. The IRS then billed me for 2016 which I underestimated how much I would owe the criminal taxation is theft agency $1,200.
That amount is now at $2,000 the last time I checked because failure to pay the full amount adds all types of other fees and interest. All my money saved away has gone to the government for the past few months and food. Because of the car accident and my local bus stop being 5 miles away, I couldn't just get a job, so I have been depending on what I have saved away and what people donate to me on my Patreon which pays on the 5th of each month.
I have been struggling like a majority of America only eating 1-2 meals a day alternating between eating a single meal or two meals.
Last week I spent my last $20 on ham, cheese, and some rolls. I calculated my food and saw that I would run out by Wednesday of this week.
A kind donator gave me $10 yesterday, and I was able to draw out my time just a little longer I went and bought some cereal. Now the cereal probably would have lasted me a few more days, but that was all I had left and no one wants to be eating only cereal. Today I woke up and I saw my Steemit to my surprise I had gained a few dollars for my work not much but enough to last me until the 5th. I just checked my account again and I received more funds, again thank you from the bottom of my heart to @Titusfrost and the rest of you this platform is revolutionary and I am glad to be apart of this venture with you all you are incredible.

When the money pool got depleted, there was a slowdown the last time. Just dont know now if and when that again will happen. The number have incheased so much. But, we'll face it whenever that happen. Let's enjoy for now.
