And the deprivation of Banu isral from the right path ,they exceeded the limits and corrupt the land , they were unfair , some denied the account and punishement and the resurrection day , the followed every thing they desire as if there is no account , then Allah subahnu wa taala sent them Isa ibn Maryuam a messenger and he taught him the Torah(The Revelation that Allah sent down to Moses. It is the Jewish Holy Book) and the bible .

"And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel ." surat Al Imran 48
And allahu subhanu wa taala give him the Injeel (the bible)
to be a conductor , a light and a confirmation of the torah
"And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous." Al Maida .46
And the prophet EIsa (Alyhu assalam )announced that their would come a prophet coming after him his name is Ahmed which is (Mohamed Salah Allah alyhi wa salam )
"and [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."
