Not sure if this is a recent Steemit change but the pencil icon next to my profile pic is a quick and easy reminder to actually post content (rather than mindlessly consume it).

As Steemit is such an international community they may think icons work better. I'd hope the site will be multilingual eventually

There will be loads of cool steemians including some graffiti artists at our stand at the event all day where there will be presentations on the hour until 16.00. The after party starts at 17.00 at the Novotel Hammersmith.
