Anti-Spam Bots on Steemit

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

Nowadays lots of people think of technologies, especially bots and robots, negatively. These bots don't cause harm - they are cleaners for people who litter. I want as much support for these bot guys as I might wanted for myself.

Please, upvote and resteem their posts

If you know more useful anti-spam bots, you can type them in the comments. I will look at them and add them to my list.

I think cheetah is the best for antispam bot.

Maybe, I don’t know if there are others on the scene

Yes @cheetah is a very useful anti-spam bot however, it does not detect articles translated from other language

Agree

Only these are two. Which you are work. In which the work of catching copied data is done.

Thank you for inquiry!)

Exactly what does the anit-spam bot do? Other than what the name says where is it applied and/or used?

It looks for plagiarized content and post a comment under the spam-post. Then added to @cheetah black-list, the user is no longer trustable

I understand, then that would mean all content must be rendered in the users own words? Im guessing that this is to avoid stealing of content.

We are all anti spam bots :D

Right!

Highly agree with that post comrade.

Punish the damn spammers.

Nice to c u bro

We are all anti spam bots

When I used a new news I always put the source from where I took it. It did not happen many times, but really @cheetah did its duty, immediately recognized the source. It's very good because if you want to distribute something from others you have to put the source in order not to be penalized. So protect our own copyrights for what we are making. A very good article @anforo .
Thank you
