The world has been changing rapidly and unexpectedly. Who knew AI defeats human in the game that human created? In the near future, we may not need to learn English or other language to communicate with foreign people any more.
Already a few softwares for translation can help people to read and write in foreign language. Of course it's still not perfect, but no one can't deny the fact that their abilities are growing so fast, now. In fact, I'm writing this using a translating tool from Google for proofreading my English writing in real time.
However, what about speaking? Is it okay for you to use or wear some equipment to talk to someone else? No matter the equipment will get lighter and smaller, I guess speaking a different language is still fun to do and will make people get closer.
So, I'd like to propose the MTE project to the world. MTE stands for "Mother Tongue Exchange". Let's exchange the "SOUND" of our mother tongue. This is not a serious academic activity, but a casual and funny one. But it can make a meaningful step to have people know each other little more., I guess.
In this stage, I have not much plan in detail level. Here are some idea I have for now.
- Using MTE tag.
- It's supposed to be a Video or Audio file. Check my DTube channel for examples.
- If you don't have a skill to make a final output in the format of video or audio file, record your voice with your phone and send me with an english translation.
- If the file that I make with your voice makes a reward, I'll share 25% of it with you. It means you'll have 50% of SBD I'll receive.
- Any amount of donation will be welcomed.
Well, these are what I can tell you for now. If you're interested in this project or my idea itself, please don't hesitate to leave a question or idea about it. I'll try my best to answer them.
My goal is not dominating this idea, but spreading it. So, I don't care you start your way and will be happy as long as it's a way of sharing our sound. And also, it'll be awesome if you resteem this proposal.
