Steemit is awesome because it rewards people for making and curating good stuff. All the time though I catch myself looking down to see how long the article has been up and what the dollar amount on it is. I would do a better job just voting for the best content if there wasn't dollars signs on everything.
What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Can it be done?
I dont think so if someone can do it, however everything is transparent it is like how the cryptocurrency being transacted. Is it good to hid earnings indeed? Thanks for sharing @arick27

I agree with you, the dollar sign makes blogging lost its meaning, its like a medium to judge a post. I hope people blog mainly because of interest.

I'm not sure we're quite on the same page, I do like the getting paid part! That all the money cycles through the community and that good content gets monetarily rewarded I really like! I just think it would be cool to be able to turn off that you see it all the time, I'd focus more on what's good instead of how much I might make off of it.
