For me, the benefit of Steem is that I get to interact with people who are in all walks of life. As a correctional behavioral specialists, no days are ever the same but the challenges within my industry remain the same. For me, Steemit is a way to still do what I love - help others by listening to their opinions and provide feedback. The way I invite friends is to let them know that I am able to curate professional content and get rewarded by doing so. I show them the platform and how user friendly it is. Nowadays I find myself logging into Steemit compared to other social media sites :)
