As a civil engineer I have always been the biggest fan of the show and it's safe to say it is my favourite show. Michael Schofield's ability to work his way out of every situation left me always on edge with beads of sweat ready to pour as to whether he would make it...
What I enjoyed most about Prisonbreak was that the expected outcome was hardly ever the actual outcome. That's what led to the 4 seasons I assume. Season 3 for me was one of those that could go under the radar as I thought they had lost the vision from the first two seasons. But wow they really brought it back in season 4. I had a nice trip down memory lane rewatching season 4 just last year. Having forgotten some of the scenes. I found myself still on edge. What kind of show can pull that off?
Anyway I digress from the purpose of this blog. Prison break season 5. Overhyped? For me personally yes. It felt more like a hype and attempt to cash in on the previous success of the show. Nothing really stood out to me as amazing. I loved the setting as it was in Yemen. It was just enjoyable to see the whole gang back together again to see them do what they do best... break out of prison.
