Why the Steem price is decreasing, people lose faith in Steemit and @stellabelle's rant - The Secret Masterplan is unraveling

Steem is crap and does not work, I have better things to do than writing articles/post to help them getting rich from it.I have decided to quit as none of my posts were even seen and no steem points while others were making thousands of points on mediocre work. I appreciate your attempt at figuring it out but I think you are wasting your time as this whole scheme is only intended to make a select few money and the rest of us will never see any rewards.

Well, it's good that you are still commenting on posts. The underlying factor here is motivation and trust decision. I've been there, started just like any other person with 3 Steem in the wallet, I've gone through all the phases, including rage quit, but then I decided i want to invest my time nevertheless and after a while, I changed my view back. It also paid off a bit through rewards based on my continuous engagement. I believe in Steem(it). You're entitled to your own opinion, off course.

When I first started posting to Steemit I knew I was going to fail, but I kept posting because failure is a part of learning and most successful people fail eight times before they become successful. Then I wrote a five part series that took 4 days to write each part that made a grand total of one dollar and I was finally a success, not because of the dollar that I made.

It was because I also received 49 followers and I learned how to write for Steemit and how not to write for Steemit. This place takes time, very few regular people without a following stroll in and make thousands anymore. You need to build a following in order to succeed here, just like every other paid blogger on other sites and every youtuber.

I've made a few hundred bucks here purely from content creation and community engagement. Granted, it's not thousands of dollars, but considering I invested 0 USD in the venture, all of my gains have been profit. I don't really see it man. Sorry.

It's OK, just one of my crazy thoughts/scenarios I guess. I agree that one can bring nothing and get something out of Steemit. Sometimes quite a lot out of Steemit. It's awesome and has been one of the most important aspects that promoted it since day one.
If you have anything saved extra (SBD or from outside of Steemit), I think you should hold on to it as you might want to actually invest when Steem dips more. That way you'll gain much more influence than the potential rewards.

Well, given that I won't have any funding to do so until at least tomorrow, I may be waiting for a bit. So if Steem doesn't jump in price dramatically in the next 48-72 hours, I think I'll be in a decent position to maximize my investment. :D

:D, don't take my advice but I'd wait a little more. Set a target when you want to do the buy in (way lower than what it is right now like .50$ or something wilder if you like the risks) and stick to it.
