Hmmm, I was going to write that I don't believe anyone should be allowed to upvote themselves - but you raise some very good points. In fact you're spot on and have converted me.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
