That's really the goal. I see without new users having fun and engaging, the platform won't grow to the full potential. Not everyone will become wealthy on steemit in a strictly monetary sense, but the ability to have fun and earn extra money while being creative would surely draw me in if I were new.

100% agree. Even if steemit were to collapse tomorrow, I still would have some awesome go getters to network with and blaze our own trail with. Steemit is valuable, but the people are invaluable.
