That's a tricky question. Well, the question is simple but it's difficult to answer. I guess it depends on many different things.
For instance, dantheman, you and a handful of other whales/dolphins back in mid to late 2016 was upvoting some of my content which was by far the coolest thing I had ever experienced online. I had no crypto- or blockchain experience and I was able to earn a months salary from just a few posts. That was amazing. I can't even describe how awesome that felt. Those gestures from you guys encouraged me to continue, and I've been here during all the ups and downs.
Nowadays, the first people I can think of is @abh12345, along with @paulag, @steevc, @preparedwombat, @skramatters and @deadspace.

Yeah, I guess it could never have continued like that with time and growth, but I personally loved those days. It was amazing to see how users from all over the world got help to pay their rent or to buy a car. Users helped others in need, and that was wonderful. I loved it.
It felt like it was more about doing things for others back in those days, even though I obviously know that greed and selfishness existed too. It would have been cool to see what Steem would've been if it had continued like that.

I can't really pick just one, there are so many different great people on steem...
I admit I'm a bit biased especially cause he is my father, but first I would say @irvinesimages and even if he wasn't my father he still posts some really amazing photography which I think deserves more attention/recognition.
And... I hope no one would be unhappy with me for not mentioning them, though I'd next give a three-way tie to @leaky20 @ayushjalan and @bengy
There are literally so many others, but those three I think deserve a particular mention from me because I've been interacting with them a lot in recent times and because they all put out good, high quality, interesting and thought-provoking content in my opinion. Plus from what I have seen they are all very social with the people who comment on their posts and they do a commendable job of responding to people who try to interact with them.
