Hi everyone, while going home by bus, looking out the window, I was having deep thoughts. One of them was that Steemit could really help the whole crypto space grow. I want to share my thoughts with you and would like to hear your opinion on this bus-thought. It's quite short, but I hope you'll enjoy it still!
Forcing to have some knowledge about cryptos
For a new user who might have joined the community just because he wants to earn some extra money it's obligating to know where to trade his hard-earned SBDs or Steems. Therefore he or she has to learn something about cryptos. The person will get to pages describing how to convert it to FIAT currencies. It's pretty sure this person will get to learn about crypto-trading basics. While exchanging Steem to Bitcoin for example, he'll learn something about Bitcoin as well. This might generate a interest for the topic and the person will maybe do some reading about cryptocurrencies and how they work. The community will grow like this.
Crypto beginners
Crypto beginners mostly know about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, ... and if they're here, they know about Steem. That's it. But with gaining knowledge about Steem, SBD, Steem Power and Steemit this person will think about which other great projects are built by Blockchain-Technology. This will lead to more interest in getting to know special use cases and awesome tokens like PowerLedger, Golem and many more.
Conclusion
Steemit really offers a good start for getting to know something about Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain-Technology. It forces its users to do some reading about it. This reading leads to more general interest in great projects and other coins and will help the whole crypto community help in growing and gaining 'quality' members. In the end, a social platform will be a booster for the crypto-space.
I hope you enjoyed it and would like to hear your opinion on Steemit being a booster for cryptospace. I wish you a nice weekend and good start in 2018 (if we don't read from each other until then).
Cheers!
