The post need 2 things to be able to be deleted: have no comments and no upvotes. If you have an upvote or a comment, you won't be able to delete it.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Yeah that's bad, but could be adjusted just like bitcoin's block size and transaction fee. Fading out would also be a way.
